    My radio wasn’t flashed and I have a DSP I thought the change was because he tuned it at 12V without the bike running, but once I start it, it’s at 13.5-14V. What you mentioned actually makes sense sort of like the speed volume which i have turned off.

    Your one of the few who point out how Harley changes the Frequencies when the Bike is running.
    I am running Biketronics Amp & LL's on a used bike (last 3 years). 2016 RG, GT stereo, that HAD a ArcAudio Amp.
    I suspect it wasn't flashed (learning curve, Arc didn't require flash ?) I rented a FLASH device from Biketronics
    and thought I got a 2x8 (?) Flash, or a common flash for added amps. Note FADE is available on the Radio.
    QUESTION: Rich Bass Sounds.....when I start the bike, it reverts to mids and highs, pretty bright, loose bass.
    WOULD that indicate MY Flash "didn't take" or I just flashed it back to Stock ??
    After you flashed in this Video you showed the Flat Curve. Is it the SAME Flat curve with the bike running or off ?

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes curve stays the same while engine is running after flashing to the 6 speaker 2 amp flash we show in this video, you can check your current flash by pulling the eq.bin number in the radio service menu, the flash we use is 134.bin

    This video is above my pay grade, my questions are probably pretty basic. I purchased a 2008 Street Glide with a OEM Harmon Kardon radio and it has the OEM 2 ohm front speakers only on the fairing, nothing is boom I believe, don't even know what boom is, should I even care, was boom even a thing back then?
    Anyway real my first question is this, my bike has the correct overlay and rear speaker harnesses for rear speakers and I want to install the speaker pods on the tour pak. How does the HD dealer flash the radio to activate the rear speakers? I have the ECM/ECU printout about my bike and it says the radio is configured for "2 speakers with or without boom amp-enhanced EQ". Will the dealer flash the radio with a CD in the radio CD slot in conjunction with connecting the bike to their digital technician? Second question is this, I'm being told by all the old timers that Harley will not be able to flash my bike because it is too old, that HD does not have software for a bike older than 10 years because that's as far back as they go?
