Remember... better cuts make better quilts!
Ok I'm not gonna lie....this tutorial may be 2 years old but that's just fine.
I have a storm at sea pattern and I read it like 5 times years ago and I dont want to tackle that pattern.....however the way you demonstrated it using the accuquilt dies and going through it step by step makes it not just fun but incredibly easy. Thank you for your excellent advice and teaching on the Storm at Sea pattern. Excellent job.
I love the colors. I will watch every video. Thank you.
I love the ocean and the colors.
Welcome back. I was afraid we had lost you somehow. Please keep the classes coming. I need all the help and pointers you offer.
I love your design ideas and choice of colors. Thank you 🙏🏻
I really enjoyed Stuart's class and I have never seen the Accquilt demonstrated before. All I can think is Wow!!, I must follow this up.
Thank you Stuart, I love your Accuquilt videos. Your instructions are so helpful, easy to follow. Please continue helping us
Stuart, I just had to check about the star fish. "It's an echinoderm, closely related to sea urchins and sand dollars. There are some 2,000 species of sea star living in all the world's oceans, from tropical habitats to the cold seafloor. The five-arm varieties are the most common, hence their name, but species with 10, 20, and even 40 arms exist." I love watching your channel. Thank you for making them.
I only subscribed to this channel to watch your Accuquilt videos. Love them! You’re a great instructor 😃
ditto!
Lovely seeing you after a long time. You are such a natural at presenting Stuart brilliant to watch
So glad to see another Stuart Hillard video!! I had despaired of seeing any more. This one inspires me to get the Angles set - I have the 9" Mix and Match, the Classics accompanying, the extra 2 Corners dies you mentioned in another video, so this will complete the whole 9" grouping. Thanks for your so-clear-to-understand videos.
Thank you. I really like the pattern done in the purple behind you.
Great instructor! (and a very clear voice)
Thank you, Stuart! your tutorial are easy to follow and fun to watch.
Just received your book 100 Quilts, this is now my favorite quilt book, usually I like a few quilts, I like almost every quilt you show, I want to start multiple quilts, they’re interesting because of the colors but also the shapes, well done!
I also have learnt so much. Thank you Stuart.
I love your videos! Thanks so much for this. Great work! ♥️
Love the video and great instructions!
So glad I found you! Your instructions are so clear. Your voice is easy to follow. I’ve been looking for a resource on how to make this block with the cube sets. Unfortunately, I bought Accuquilt’s Storm At Sea BOB and find it tedious to use. Claims to make a 12 inch but only if you make 2 passes. Should have spent my money on the companion angle set. I now have renewed interest in making this pattern.
thank you for the video love sea life I have to I live in Louisiana lol
Thank you.
Love this class. Do you have written directions? Thank you for sharing your art.
I've just bought my 1st sewing machine... and I love your videos... the purple quilt behind you is just awesome... but a long way off for me I think... lol
I've been bored for 6 weeks off work with covid19... dont anyone underestimate that virus coz it's just awful... x
I'm looking for the free pattern for the Stomach At sea classic block
as a note on using invisible thread: its plastic, and like any plastic thread high heat pressing can mess it up. so if you are used to all cotton quilts... be a bit more cautious when pressing anything stitched with nylon thread
Is there an easy way to calculate fabric requirements for the cyan quilt from the purple pattern on C&C?
Can anyone tell me how large the block will be using the 8"cube. I'm a beginner and don't know how to calculate
Love this...how large is the sewn block when you used the. 8” cube? ( Before placed in quilt)
When printing directions I do not get a picture of quilt is there somehow I can get one.
Stuart, did you make your shirt, and is it Liberty fabric?
