Fantastic I have made one rice bag and now on the other for my baby nephew and niece for Easter filling them with a pretty baby dress and little dungarees Following your instructions it was so easy and enjoyable to make I am sure they will be well loved for a long time to come Thank You Stuart
Watching you from Arkansas USA, I Have been a seamstress for years. Dont quilt but you have a great teaching skill, could watch your for hours, Lovely way with you , as us Irish say xx
Stuart, you make everything so easy to understand. I really really love 💖💖💖 that Danish heart 💖 quilt. Thank you so much your a pleasure to watch xxx Mags
Really love this quilt and the colors you chose. Am looking To make two quilts for expected baby girls in the next few months, and this one in the colors you used would be perfect. You made it look easy and fast, always what I look for! Thanks for the tutorial. Your teaching style is always clear and organized and I appreciate your keeping to the topic. Many thanks. I continue to learn a lot from you.
Great vid. Technique-wise, I learned 2 things I've not seen elsewhere. First, ironing one's strip in the direction that one sewed. Second, using the top/bottom threads held to pull project through. Love your teaching style.
Thank you for a beginner friendly but expert looking quilt. Your pace and directions are wonderful. Looking forward to more projects. 😀😉 One little suggestion: add the fabric measurements in the comments below your video in addition to the ones in the video. Just quicker and easy for us to use. Thank you!
When snowballing corners I add another line of stitches 1/4" from the main stitches towards the corner. Then I trim between the lines leaving 1/8" seam allowance. I then have zero fabric waste & FREE TINY HSTs for dolly/miniature quilts.I also the same on larger snowballs/flying geese too.
Eureka! I have been looking for an inspiring quilt design. This is definitely what I've been waiting for. I feel the design and color must work for me the quilter as well as for the recipient of the quilt. She requested pink, not my favorite color to work with. On hearts pink definitely works for me though. Thank you so much for sharing your quilt.
Brilliant tutorial Stuart. Looking forward to the next one. I do not do "block" quilts I prefer Art Quilts or OOAK pattern all over. I especially loved the how to quilt it suggestions. I let my quilts lay in my sewing room, visited daily , until they "speak" to me how they want quilted...you will know what I mean! Could you include some art quilts in your tutorials please.
Where have you been??? I really miss your tutorials! I am going to try your Danish Heart quilt., but I sure would like info on how much fabric I need to buy for a twin/full size quilt….♥️
I could listen to you for hours! You have such a pleasant manner, and I appreciate all the little tips and tricks that you don't normally find in written patchwork instructions. I will definitely be trying out some of your ideas soon!

If you did this quilt in shades of green and white it might look like a shamrock. I love this quilt. And I love the fabric you chose. Just beautiful.

Sorry! Forgot to ask. What is a rotating pencil?
It's much easier doing the hearts this way. Easier than weaving bits of fabric.
That is lovely .Lynette
WhT is a propeller pencil?
