While I know it’s been years since this tutorial, I’ve just now discovered it. Your voice is soothing. You speak slowly enough for us to follow along. Thanks
Been sewing for 50+ years! Never knew the "snap" test!! I even took a textiles course in college! Oh, and I love the "hurrah!" LOL!! Thanks for all the info! Stuart is a great teacher!
A born teacher...this man is amazing! So thankful that you found him. Please share many more tutorials with him as the instructor. As a beginner quilter, he has answered some of my questions with his easy tips. Love him!
What a great tutorial, so refreshing to see everything cut, pieced and assembled from start to finish is such detail and with so many handy tips. Stuart really is a fantastic teacher.
OK - hold up a minute here! Anyone that doesn’t understand fabric needs to watch this video! I am a 56-year-old woman and could never get this through my head. The north to south and his cute little grin are very fitting because it totally makes sense to me! You are my newest favourite RUclipsr ❤️
Sir, besides your professional knowledge - I really adore your pronunciation. As a non native english speaker it is a pleasure to listen to your perfect talking. This is english as it should be. Love and respect from Austria 🇦🇹
I just love your teaching style, it is so easy to follow and you don't skip any step or information along the way. I do have one request though, please stay out of my sewing room, I like to do all of my cussings and crying in private. Thank you very much. Lol I look forward to watching many more of your videos!
Hi I'm 79 years old I have so you many years ago on the program always enjoyed you have discovered you on RUclips and on creative craft you are a joy to watch I have been trying to quote for the last four years but not looking at you doing the go and even more easier to try things you're a great presenter
as a very new accuquilt sewer, thanks so much for the such a well thought out classroom demo. You are a great teacher. looking forward to more classes. The more we understand the more we will invest in those cubes...
I am new to quilting and have purchased a Accuquilt cutter and several cubes and strip dyes and now trying to learn how to cut and put together. I am very much a visual learner. Thank you very much for explaining every step and the smart tips given!!
Oh my gosh! This is the first time I’ve watched this station and was pleasantly surprised to learn so much about the use of my Accuquilt that I’ve had and rarely used for years now. Thank you, thank you for such clear and concise instructions. I have subscribed now and will be looking for this gentleman in particular to watch. Excellent!
I have a go ibought along time ago and with all good intent to use. But no one i know used one so never the instruction. I am so glad to have found this gentleman. Now i can use it. I now need an outlet to get templates. Thank you am on my way.
Watched the entire video. Great information and lots of helpful hints. When I first took quilting classes, I did a sampler quilt in the second class. It is still not finished, and it’s about 4 years old! The blocks just didn’t fit together. If I had had the AccuQuilt, the blocks would have been much more accurate. I love the patterns you have used in this series, and plan on making some of them. This one would also be a great baby quilt if made in a square, with maybe more than one border. Thanks for making it look so simple.
Loved your video. You are very calm and organized. Loved my first project with accuquilt. Learned so much and the finished project made me so proud I could do this and so professional it looked. Great work!!
Great tutorial you explain the process better than a lot of other accuquilt videos. Thank you and keep them coming. Could you also give fabric amounts please.
Love these tutorials. Great instructor. His instructions are clear and detailed, and draws your attention to the many annoying mistakes we beginners make. Lots of useful sewing tips thrown in. I’m seriously considering getting the Accuquilt, and I will definitely copycat your tiny, practical ironing board and make one for myself ❤️😻 Thank you so much!
Im truly enjoying your tutorials Stuart with the lovely creations using the Accuquilt cutters. Im very seriously thinking of getting one, like most people Im sure it can be tiring cutting with your rotary cutter all the pieces for a quilt. The Accuquilt Cutter makes it look a dream.
This is a wonderful, helpful video and a wonderful teacher. I learned a lot! And I love my GO! I bought lots of dies before they came out with the cube sets, so I am never sure which dies go together. I will have to figure that out.
Excellent video in real time, great tips would like to see links to pattern and where to buy Accuquilt blocks. Well done STUART hope there loads more to come.
Brilliant tutorial. Please can you tell me if it makes a difference which way round the die goes through the machine. For example does it matter which direction the label on the die goes.
If you watch other Accuquilt tutorials, you will see the length of grain goes towards your tummy rather than towards the machine. You can see Stuart turns it before he puts it in the machine. It doesn't really mater which side of the die goes in first.
I want this machine so much. With the high cost of quilting fabric, it appears to be a fair amount of waste compared to rotary cutting. Am I correct? I would love to see a comparison before I buy.
grandmav2014 I have one and love it...if you look you can see the two different colors on the dies...you have about a quarter inch around...that is waste...so yes maybe a bit more waste. But it also makes it easy to do scrap busting and cut shapes you use regularly.
While I know it’s been years since this tutorial, I’ve just now discovered it. Your voice is soothing. You speak slowly enough for us to follow along. Thanks
All these years of sewing and I never knew the "snap test" to tell the grain of the fabric! Thank you - what a GREAT teacher!
I agree wholeheartedly! Thanks Stuart! I hope see a lot videos from you. An excellent teacher!!!
Excellent, you explained a lot more details about the Accuquilt system than the company does on their website! THANK YOU!
Been sewing for 50+ years! Never knew the "snap" test!! I even took a textiles course in college! Oh, and I love the "hurrah!" LOL!! Thanks for all the info! Stuart is a great teacher!

I love the accent. I could listen to him for hours.

your awesome can you tell me the preferred size to purchase 12" 9" 8" 6" ? I have a very limited income and love to quilt and have arthritic issues.
I have dies from when you first came out (before cube) can I get just the cubes without Dies so I can store my old dies?
Enjoyed!!
