Hey Joey, I finally got to use C4 & P4 on my Pearl Merlot Genesis. While my paint was in pretty good shape, I HATE swirl marks! Not only did I get those out but the depth of the shine when using the P4 was INCREDIBLE! While this process took me a LONG time, I learned how to use my Torqqx which gave me a ton of confidence. To anyone out there nervous about using these products just watch the videos a few times and get to work. You'll never regret it once you get going. Thanks CG's!

Hi Gary! Being a new vehicle it should need much correct, machine polishing with a White Hex-Logic Pad and V38 will remove fine imperfections as well as scuffs and light stains.

For best results we recommend using a machine polisher. This combination of products works out great for virtually all levels of scratches and swirls on your ride.
I have a 2019 black Silverado trail boss with small dots in the paint and scratches and swirl marks will the c4 and p4 take the small set in for specs out aswell

Hey! When using a DA polisher use the weight of the machine, your hand a little more. Listen for the tone of the machine to change slightly. If you're using a rotary polisher, use the weight of the machine only. Be sure that you are thoroughly working the product and allowing it to breakdown properly. Also, make sure your pad is clean.
After using C4 and P4 on a black colour. What’s the next step, Pete’s 53 Carnauba wax, and jet seal. How about a glaze product and before of after the wax?
Hi guys. I have just recently bought a 1 year old black vw. The paintwork looks ok but I do feel I need to run a clay bar and get any swirls and light scratches out. Do you recommend c4 & p4 on such a new car or would p4 with the white hex be fine? With black it does tend to pick up light scratches in places so I’d want to get rid of those. Any help would be much appreciated! I’ve already bought a load of chemical guys products over the years and keen to get back to the detailing game.

Just a little tip I noticed there was still a bit of haze in the paint, Just a quick wipe over with alcohol will clear this up. Big fan of CG and use it daily. I would have about 30-40 CG products.

I have a white 08 xterra it's never been detailed the paint has never been taken care of and I'm finally trying to take care of it. Are these products better than the V line polish? It appears I have normal swirls and normal wear. What would be recommended? Again the xterra is cloud white, also what other cleaning products would anyone recommend? It gets dirty easy cause if the bigger tires I put on it so it slings water and dirt onto the doors when I turn lol.
Hello! Thanks for watching. Using C4 and P4 is great for saving time when multi-step paint corrections aren't necessary. After shine has been restored I recommend applying HydroSlick to in gloss and repel harsh elements as well as brake dust and water spots.
Late to the comments and video, but I have an older Pontiac that has chips from rocks/debris on the front end and the paint (possibly clear is coming off as well. Can I still use C4/P4 combo on those areas? Thanks!

Yes! You can apply a ceramic coating after you have corrected your paint with these products. Also, we used the orange pad first since it is a more aggressive pad to remove the heavier imperfections then followed it with the softer white polishing pad to refine the surface.
Yes, you can wipe down your paint with Wipe Out afterwards to remove residual compound/polish residue and to prep your paint to apply a protective coating.

Hello , i have 2 questions , can i add ceramic coating after this result ? And the other one is what is the difference between white and orange sponge ? Thanks
Yes! You can apply a ceramic coating after you have corrected your paint with these products. Also, we used the orange pad first since it is a more aggressive pad to remove the heavier imperfections then followed it with the softer white polishing pad to refine the surface.

Do you apply any type of wax coating after doing this process??
Absolutely! You can use a combination of ceramic, glaze, sealant, and/or wax to lock in shine and repel harsh elements.
P4 and a green pad got the job done

I would after the 1 or two step so sealants glazes and wax can’t bond a lot better
Yes, you can wipe down your paint with Wipe Out afterwards to remove residual compound/polish residue and to prep your paint to apply a protective coating.
Great results! Do you not have to use pad lube before applying the compounds?

So would I use C4 and P4 prior to using the Butter Wet Car Wax? If not, then what would you guys recommend?
Hi Jordan! Using a test spot, determine if both C4 and P4 are necessary to remove swirls and scratches. Once desired shine has been achieved apply Butter Wet Wax.
