Total interior detailer, lightning fast upholstery cleaner, VRP for tires. Don't mind the synthetic quick detailer either. How does this C4 compare to Meguiar's ultimate compound, especially with the mild orange foam pad? Similar results? Better results?
I don't mind chemical guys products I just wish they would thin their lines down instead of having so many overlapping or identical products. The one exception though has been there polishes and I absolutely LOATHE these polishes, so kudos to Brian and anybody else that's able to get a result they're happy with.
Interesting video Brian . I've considered trying c4 but think I'll stay with my malco and 3d stuff . I would have been even more interested if you followed the c4 with the p4 polish .
Great video and review as always Brian. I like VRP tire dressing and some of their soaps that’s pretty much it. Some of the towels and products aren’t bad either.
Use a plug in rotary polisher if those who detail because it's consistent power at low to spread and high to cut and polish. Battery drops significantly no matter what. Happy detailing 😁
I was having a problem cutting. Tried McGuires and turtle wax. Both couldn’t cut it. Today I picked up chemical guys C4. It smells very nice. I hope this works. So far their products have ended up being the best. Doing my car polishing over the next few days.
Really helpful video - perfectly timed as I'm about to order my first compound & polish for DA correction on my 5yr old red Mustang GT. If I can get my ride to look anywhere as good at the red car you have in the video I would be very happy. New subscriber :)
I've kinda dialed in what I use for polishing. Maybe 2 years ago I tried some Chemical Guys products and was kinda disappointed. They'd have to produce something stellar for me to try their products again. Sorry. Great review Brian.
Totally. I used it after my Maguire's and CarPro compounds failed to do so on a client's car the other day. Worked flawlessly, and after following up with a little tester bottle I had of P4, i was ready to recoat their car (the right way). It turned out great. There are other compounds just as good or better, but C4 is definitely a solid choice and I can't imagine why anyone would be disappointed with it.
@@ThisOldDetailingDude The orange is med cut and the yellow is heavy cut! Normally, when you use compounds you have to follow up with a 2nd stage polish to finish down because of the hazing compounds leave behind!
Hello Brian : What pad combo would you use on a vehicle that has sift clear coat like a 2015 Rav 4 in black that has some moderate to heavy defects like swirl marks and moderate to deep scratches( not through the pain but close) I will be using a Rotary polished. Can you recommend the types of pads that I would need please? I have a number of different polishes and compounds I picked up from extreme solutions.
@@apexdetail85your right! I’m not sure why there’s a group of people that don’t like their stuff. I mean it’s almost like an anti CG thing just to be negative. They’re innovating in our industry. Always have, and they’re good to their customers.
They get way more shit than they deserve, but somebody always ends up being the punching bag and their marketing style made them an easy target. But I'm all about Nonsense as a light-to-medium-duty APC, HydroCharge+ is one of the better spray ceramics I've used, their floor mat cleaner does an awesome job, C4 and P4 are great general use compounds, VRP is fuckin' magic in a bottle... Like, I definitely still make jokes about them (even when I'm in a Detail Garage store, which is always funny because the staff usually laugh and the other customers get pissy and annoying), but they have a lot of good shit too, and it's an easy recommendation for people who ask how to take better care of their cars but don't wanna get too deep into it.
@@apexdetail85 Well said, man. One of the reasons I enjoy your content: you're honest, but have an open mind and are willing to try something out even if you've had a negative experience with other offerings. Great way to approach the process!
Do you enjoy anything from Chemical Guys? Which Products?
Total Interior, Tire Kicker, Nonsense
Vrp for tires is great
Total interior detailer, lightning fast upholstery cleaner, VRP for tires. Don't mind the synthetic quick detailer either.

Hydro Interior is not bad.. a little spendy.. but seams to get the job done.
I use their clay-luber and pad conditioner

Agreed.
I really like the people at my local chemical guys detail garage. Really enjoy the citrus wash for its scent

The Chemical Guys microfiber wash is excellent

How did it work on your C4? Going to start mine soon. Please let me know. Thanks.
@@jmmeis hi. Worked very well and so easy to use. I think chemical guys was the best. Very easy wipe up.
Great results Brian 👊🏼
Clean Slate. I love the product. I’ll be using it before I start the paint correction.
I like how you used LC instead of CG pad.

I found the cut was great but the removal was like trying to wipe off honey on a variety of clear coats.
What was the name of the last pad u used at the end?? Also were can i purchase it frm?
Honeydew Snow Foam and VRT
I just saw this at my local Walmart!
You can find it everywhere! That is the best part.
Have you thought about testing the Cerakote Glass Kit?
On the list.
Not fan of Chemical Guys products, but the compound did a very good job. At least 8 out of ten.

There are gems in every product line… I try to always keep an open mind.
Can this product remove a badly applied ceramic coating? Btw love the way you always get the pad on the polisher dead center😎
Yes, can you do a video on how to remove an old ceramic coating? Thnx.

It sure can👍🏻
Can we see the new uro wool pad vs urofiber 😁
Awesome video and product review good friend
Followed by p4 results will be amazing I am sure
I like that you used my favorite pad the LC CCS Pad! Do you think the yellow one for the 1000 and 600 could cut it down better?
Good question. I would like you to explain in detail which pads & why

How do u know the hardness of ur clear coat ?
These comments crack me up. The video literally demonstrates how well the product works. Commenters: “not a fan.”
Pretty impressive
Wow chemical guy’s
What camera do you use for recording? Thank you
U can see the gopro in the reflection
Hey could you do a review on onyx coatings ?
👍🏻
CG Has 10 products for every category.
Legit. They're a joke.
Literally the same shit with 8374737747474 labels.
Indeed… but every product line has gems…. Keep an open mind to find them.
Every step there’s 10 products and 3 products for each of those 10 products to combine with.

The Beast. Reviewed not long ago.

What up B?
MadWax!!!
Anyone try a whoolmpad
Not a big fan of chemical guys
Still a 3D one guy
Great marketing and social media presence. However, most of their products are mediocre, at best.

Um NO

I found water to have more cutting ability than C4
Lol….so silly.
VRP
