hey everybody, just wanted to encourage everyone to purchase this dvd..It really helped and not only did it help me learn the t2i but he gave a free photography course which teaches you a lot as well. It helped me understand aperture, shutter, DOF, etc better and he broke it down very well. I look forward to getting another dvd when I get the chance. Probably the photoshop one..Thanks Michael
I just bought this camera from my neighbor. Thank you for this and all the info. I am learning lots. Thank you for the begginer stuff because I know very basics
I can appreciate that, I know some students who prefer to read the manual. I also know that many of my students prefer someone to just show them on a video they can refer to anytime they like, and I go through everything in about 3-4 hours. Thanks for your comment.
This video is very help I was planning on purchasing the Canon T2i this week and watching this video really put me at ease in making that purchase.........Good Information I also would like to purchase your DVD..........
Thank you for the straight forward video. So many on these help videos make the video about them instead of the purpose of the search help needed. Nice job. gb.
Just want to say that I got your DVD Crash Course. Thank you, Just watch through & wrote some notes to bring along when taking pictures. I took camera lessons before 28 years ago. I never continue but after going through the video I recap from that time. For the money I spent, is professionally worth it. I will be watching this DVD tutorial again and again until I get, especially the fraction part. I use photobucket so once I have some pics I would like to share it or go to your site.
@chessdude67 don't be scared. dive in and play around. i'm a filmmaker who just SOLD my camcorder to buy the T2i. read the manual slowly. it just takes patience. i get confused by all the info- its new to me too, but your movies will be beautiful!
If you see a little bar on the screen that means that your SD card isnt fast enough to write the data. You need a class 6 or 10 SD card. These can keep up to the speed at which the camera is trying to record data.
Great video! I just bought the t2i today. I am trying to take simple pictures now as i learn more and have it in the auto mode. i also hit the button to where it displays what it is i am taking a picture of on the screen itself. when i hit the zoom button or the magnifying glass with the + sign, it will zoom up. however, when i take the picture it does not stay zoomed up and the red light at the bottom of the camera lights up for a few seconds. is this thing broken or is there a setting?
Michael, where may I find that video you mentioned? I looked on here but it did not come up. I HAVE to learn more about this camera before I go to yellowstone!! Thanks mate!
nice vid, I am trying to take a pic of full moon with 55-250 lens in full auto but when I zoom in it keeps trying to focus and will never take pic. Also I am traveling to yellowstone next month......what mode do you recommend I take most of my pics in?
hi there, the automatic focus on the camera takes photos that come out blurry - i dont understand how this could be blurry, if everything is automatic? could you please advise, thanks so much
Very Helpful! I bought this camera three weeks ago, and I'm still "scared" of it! I have not taken a single picture with it. It sitting next to me in the box. I keep thinking about returning it. I just don't know if I'm in over my hear. This would be my first SLR camera??? Not sure why this is so hard for me, but I do have 45 days to return it for a full refund. Thinking I should have gone with a camcorder?? Any advice from other beginners? Thanks.
i just got my rebel t2i and having trouble with the playback on my laptop. whether i record in hd or not the video is very choppy. i have a class 10 sd card and a hp laptop thats fairly new, any suggestions because im not sure whether its the settings on the camera or laptop or something that im doing completely wrong. please help thanks
I want to down load or up load my pictures from my t2i to my phone. I have a USB with a type C converter and a mini port (fits t2i) I was trying to figure out if or how to use this to put my pictures onto my phones memory or the SD card in my phone. Do you know if this is possible? I have had this t2i for 3 years and I will pull it out once or twice every few months , but then I get frustrated when I try to do things but never quite goes the way I was hoping. Tonight I wanted to get my Xmas pics off the t2i and transfer to my Motorola Android phone. In the past I have taken out of the t2i the mini SD card and transfered it to my phone. This has some issues. I have had my phone not want to access the SD card without formatting it. When I did format I lost everything on it. My friend bought a USB to C converter plug and it will plug into the t2i however my phone will not acknowledge that there is another device attached to be able to turn on the share files options. Any ideas on if I have spent enough time trying this? or would you know a detail that could point me in the correct direction? I also want to connect my t2i to my telescopes but the connector I bought does nothing. 😣😱 I have a routine of getting all my stuff out and work the problem, read, watch, and try until I get to the point I am at now. That is just frustrated and now I will put it all packed up in it's pretty camera bag until I want to take more pictures. I'm hoping I won't have to buy another computer to put the SD cards in up load the pictures and then send them to my phone. What is the mini port for if not sharing the pictures? Thank you for your videos sorry so long winded.
ha ha yes i agree. it wasnt my camera though so i wanted to check if it was working properly.. lens was on M position while shooting in AF, hence problem solved
it would be great if I could purchase you video via digital download, this way I could use it on the go with my ipad or iphone/ipod, plus I hate using disc for anything as I pretty ruff on them! But yeah addin git to the I-tunes movie store would be next gen!
hai there! i have a problem with my 550d i filmed a video and uploaded here in my channel, the 'contest response'. (if you have time, please watch it, maybe you can see the problem) and it is not HD, :| why? please help me asap... :(

For shots of the moon, go with live view, zoom in, and use manual focus. Go with Manual mode if possible.
Thank you for the straight forward video. So many on these help videos make the video about them instead of the purpose of the search help needed. Nice job.

Where can I find that at Michael?? I must learn before I go to yellowstone!!! ugggh LOL, Thx mate! I looked on here but it did not come up.
Considering you paid between $600-800 for this camera, $40 is a tremendous value to have a pro show you how to use it, but to each his own.
