Citizen's Ghost is one of my favorites. I think this should have really counted as the 1st episode of the cartoon as the story picks up after the end of their battle with Gozer in Ghostbusters part 1.
Agreed. I remember getting the special edition DVD that came with the first 2 films and bonus content. This episode was the one featured in the contenrt and I always believed because this episode bridged the gap between the films.
Definitely need to fix the audio issue. This was one of my favorites from the series, but it also scared the hell out of me. The idea of some creepy copy trying to destroy you and take your place? YIKES! Then Jordan Peele's movie "Us" came out, and it strongly reminded me of this episode. Ghostbusters was better though.
Peter carefully concealed the fact that the whole thing was HIS fault from the reporter. Egon: Peter, I told you to burn those uniforms. Can't you handle a simple task like that? Peter: You could've done it. It was your idea. Egon: I was busy rebuilding the containment unit. Ray: And Winston and I were busy getting all the supplies for rebuilding the firehouse. Winston: Yeah, Peter. What were you busy doing? Peter: Well, somebody had to figure out how much money and time it was going take.

Two thumbs up to uploading the original version of this episode, which corrects some animation mistakes we see in the Ghostbusters I/II dual set. Two thumbs down to having an audio issue from 13:41 to the end ... while at the same time removing the older video which *doesn't* have this problem. These technical issues are nothing new, and it blows my mind that no one is checking for them.
8:41 Technically, he did go and pig out at a hotdog stand, but apparently, he followed them back to the firehouse afterwards (sort of gives a different view to that final shot in the movie).

Easily a top 10 probably top 5 episode, The Boogeyman Cometh, If Halloween Was Forever and Sandman Dream Me A Dream are my absolute first 3 episodes. Anytime I want to just escape or fall asleep I can put those on and be happy before I know it. 😄👍

I think the colors of their new uniforms have to do with the colors they wore in the movie. Peter usually wore a brown suit in the movie, Egon wore a blueish grey suit mostly in the movie, Ray wore a lot of beige, especially beige pants in the movie. Winston did were a lot of light colored, plaid shirts in the movie with blue jeans in the movie.
In the original pilot which was only 4 minutes long, their suits were all the same color. It was decided that they should all wear different colored uniforms so you could tell them apart from a distance or when their heads weren’t showing. Note: Originally, all 4 of the ninja turtles wore red masks. You could only tell them apart by their weapons.

I haven't seen the newest film of the Ghostbusters franchise 'Ghostbusters:Frozen Empire' yet but if anyone has do they know if Slimer was brought back to be seen again in it as I remember the last time we saw the little spud was in Ghostbusters 2.
I understand they had different color uniforms for the toy line but i personally think the cartoon should have stuck to the all baige uniforms, which is realistic, those colors were tacky. Funny though how ray was the only one who stayed true to the baige uniform.

Until later on after Season 2, Slimer becomes too important that it becomes annoying, and mostly on screen than the Ghostbusters
