Columbia went “ha hah no” and hired DiC for their cartoon series, so Filmation mined their 1975 live action children’s show to create this competing Ghost Busters cartoon.

Look, if people like the Filmation Ghostbusters, that's fine. But I just can't get into them. Still better than the 2016 movie.

Actor Alan Oppenheimer has amazing ranges : He has played Battlecat, Humblepuss from the Smurfs, Skeletor . Also Alan played Flintheartglum Gold on Duck Tales 1987- 90 . Back then, we have a variety of good and bad characters. Some of them had a British accent, Scottish accents, Spanish accents .

oof. coming back to this as an adult isn't the best experience. You can see the writers and animators were trying to make a fun, kid friendly show and in that they succeeded. But there just isn't any of the substance that made the REAL ghostbusters or Masters of the Universe more enduring.
I can see alot of positive comments here so let me just say this isn't the real ghostbusters. The theme song sucks. The big ape sucks. The skullphone is cool everything else sucks.
The original Ghost busters movies and tv shows are still my favorites to watch anytime .
