    I use this laundry detergent sheets for washing while on board, they dont take up much room, they are light, they dont explode in your case and you can cut them up depending on how much laundry you have, they wash great and are better for the environment too. Nothing wrong with taking a disco light while on board lol .....Happy Easter to you both x

    I always do a list that way I don't forget things. I didn't know about being able to take medication in a pill box I thought it had to be original box so thank you for that. To make it easier for coming home all clothes when worn are put straight into the suitcase so last day packing is easy.

      Good tip about the laundry pods.. I forgot them … bought some in Greece.. slightly different Aerial pods so glad to bring them home. Free laundry on P&O Azura so very little washing to do when I got home, such a nice change !!

    Good tips, I always put my sock in the shoes to fill the space. Roll T shirts and casual as I find it reduces creases. I like the case to.👍

    Great tips…. One that we use is, always lay out everything that you need (mine and then hubbys )and then split between 2 cases because if one case should be lost we have a mixture of both mine and his clothes!!! Otherwise one of us could have nothing to wear!!, oh scary thoughts 😱

    Great video as always. Lovely suitcase, quite heavy though. I'm looking for a suitcase, but it weights a bit too much for me. I'll look on line for the others now. I used to mix our clothes between suitcases just in case one was lost. Enjoy your cruise. Arvia is fabulous.

    Hi Jamie, I messaged you a couple of days ago about the Level 8 luggage which you kindly responded to. So far we've only cruised from Southampton but have decided to bite the bullet and do a fly cruise next year. How have you found the Level 8 on for fly cruises? I'm a little concerned about the size but like the idea of packing my suit in the case.

    With regards to medication can you take them in the medication organizers or do they need to be in their original packaging ??

    • @TravelBlogJamie
      @TravelBlogJamie  Год назад +1

      I’ve never taken original packaging for cruises from the U.K. but I would if I were flying abroad

    • @philipdouglas5911
      @philipdouglas5911 Год назад +2

      Ideally tablets should be in the original packets unless it is an organiser prepared by a pharmacist. Working in the NHS it is a nightmare to try and identify tablets that have been placed in an organiser at home. It is impossible to tell the difference between many small, round white tablets that are available let alone the dose. If you are going to use an organiser take a copy of you latest prescription just in case. Personally would prefer the original boxes as we may wish to suspend some and not others if you need to go to hospital and we can use yours until a fresh stock is obtained. It is frustrating what people do with tablets and they can make our life more difficult - that's they are taking them as they should. I would disagree with you on this one Jamie for all forms of travel both at home and abroad.
      Looking forward to your thoughts on fly cruise packing especially with taking a suit. My next one is a Caribbean one with P+O who are more generous than Marella with their luggage allowance even when they are using the same airline.

      @@philipdouglas5911 Thank you. I always have my repeat prescription viewable on the nhs app. and I have no problem telling my meds apart - they all look very different. I take your points of course but I’ll continue using my organiser for cruising out of the U.K.
      Wishing you well!
