I use this laundry detergent sheets for washing while on board, they dont take up much room, they are light, they dont explode in your case and you can cut them up depending on how much laundry you have, they wash great and are better for the environment too. Nothing wrong with taking a disco light while on board lol .....Happy Easter to you both x
I always do a list that way I don't forget things. I didn't know about being able to take medication in a pill box I thought it had to be original box so thank you for that. To make it easier for coming home all clothes when worn are put straight into the suitcase so last day packing is easy.
Good tip about the laundry pods.. I forgot them … bought some in Greece.. slightly different Aerial pods so glad to bring them home. Free laundry on P&O Azura so very little washing to do when I got home, such a nice change !!
Great tips…. One that we use is, always lay out everything that you need (mine and then hubbys )and then split between 2 cases because if one case should be lost we have a mixture of both mine and his clothes!!! Otherwise one of us could have nothing to wear!!, oh scary thoughts 😱
Great video as always. Lovely suitcase, quite heavy though. I'm looking for a suitcase, but it weights a bit too much for me. I'll look on line for the others now. I used to mix our clothes between suitcases just in case one was lost. Enjoy your cruise. Arvia is fabulous.
Great sponsor Jamie… how heavy is it? We had lovely weather in Malta and Greek islands… still took me cardi !! Hope you have fantastic weather and Cruise !!! Enjoy
Great tips thank you ...it will be our 1st time cruising (Arvia May 2024 ) doing the Med. So looking forward to your future vids from your next cruise for tips especially at the Ports you will be going to as this is the bit that seems to worry us the most 😂
Ah now then, I’m actually spending longer on the port sections this time - listening to feedback! First vlog out on Wednesday 🙏 Hope you have a great time onboard!
Hi Jamie, I messaged you a couple of days ago about the Level 8 luggage which you kindly responded to. So far we've only cruised from Southampton but have decided to bite the bullet and do a fly cruise next year. How have you found the Level 8 on for fly cruises? I'm a little concerned about the size but like the idea of packing my suit in the case.
Ideally tablets should be in the original packets unless it is an organiser prepared by a pharmacist. Working in the NHS it is a nightmare to try and identify tablets that have been placed in an organiser at home. It is impossible to tell the difference between many small, round white tablets that are available let alone the dose. If you are going to use an organiser take a copy of you latest prescription just in case. Personally would prefer the original boxes as we may wish to suspend some and not others if you need to go to hospital and we can use yours until a fresh stock is obtained. It is frustrating what people do with tablets and they can make our life more difficult - that's they are taking them as they should. I would disagree with you on this one Jamie for all forms of travel both at home and abroad. Looking forward to your thoughts on fly cruise packing especially with taking a suit. My next one is a Caribbean one with P+O who are more generous than Marella with their luggage allowance even when they are using the same airline.
@@philipdouglas5911 Thank you. I always have my repeat prescription viewable on the nhs app. and I have no problem telling my meds apart - they all look very different. I take your points of course but I’ll continue using my organiser for cruising out of the U.K. Wishing you well!
I pack the booze the same way! As for the rest of it, mine’s a bit of a free for all 😂 I can’t decide whether packing cubes are wise or a waste of space 🤔 Heels won’t fit like your flats!! 👠👠👠

Fabulous idea! Everyone needs a disco light 😉

Yes good suggestion about worn clothes!

Good tips, I always put my sock in the shoes to fill the space. Roll T shirts and casual as I find it reduces creases. I like the case to.👍
The case is my new fav toy 😂😂😂
That divider and zippable section within the case are brilliant. How has no one thought of that until now?!
It’s so cool isn’t it?!
Going on a Cruise in September for the very first time to Norway very excited 😁 this video has helped alot thanks 👍
Have a great time
Thank you. My family and I have booked for Ventura in November and your videos are really informative and fun. Happy cruising!
Thank you so much 😊 hope you have a great cruise 🚢
Fab video! Great tips and I love the new case 😊

Thanks so much, Carol! This case is the very large one so it definitely will be too big / heavy for some!
Brilliant I need a new case to go in May, will check that company out.
❤️❤️❤️
Just found your vlogs. Really useful. I've loved these case for some time. Can you tell me what size your one is? Thank you
This is the largest of its type! It’s perfect for a cruise for us ❤️
Qué guay 🎉
❤️❤️❤️
Great sponsor Jamie… how heavy is it? We had lovely weather in Malta and Greek islands… still took me cardi !! Hope you have fantastic weather and Cruise !!! Enjoy
This is a massive case - it’s 5kg. The others are 3kg. Weather great on our cruise - sunny every day so far!

Everything wrapped in tissue paper. It’s amazing 👍🏻

Packing cubes
Absolutely
Where did you get the pill organiser. That size is just what I need.
Just searched on Amazon for this one
Hi jamie where you are allowed to take some drink onboard on the day of embarkation where is the best place to pack them 🍾🍾
Hi Colin - It’s a litre each on P&O. I
think in the video I wrapped it and put in the case?
Let’s get packing! Where there’s a method there’s a way! What are your packing tips and hacks? Post below!

I’ve responded on a different channel
With regards to medication can you take them in the medication organizers or do they need to be in their original packaging ??
I’ve never taken original packaging for cruises from the U.K. but I would if I were flying abroad

Always take a prescription with you. it has all you medication on it and is from your doctor. Just ask at your surgery.
A bit bloody early, Captain!⚓️
😂😂😂
Well we are an hour ahead here
Brilliant thanks...were are the labels u put on your packing cubes from love them xx
@@lyndavey4392 these come with the organisers from level8cases - if you use my code in the description you can get 15% off at the mo
Interested to discover if that case was too deep to store under the bed in the cabin?
No, it fits!
U so fun 👍🤩 💪🏼💪🏼
🤩
Bought a suit carrier for a suit and 2 dresses , it may not be allowed to check in ?
It depends if your suit carrier is just the fabric types like in this vid or a rigid one (those are fine to check in)
What size are those luggage tags? Amazon seems to have two options! 6.5x20cm or 9x20cm
Ours are the 9cm
@@TravelBlogJamie thank you Jamie, very kind :)
Most importantly how much does the case weigh empty?
This one is extra large and comes in at 5kg. The ‘normal’ sizes are around 3kg depending on the case type
I can only take 15kg case
Take it where?
@@TravelBlogJamie Loganair baggage allowance from Edinburgh to Southampton is only 15kg

I think the pods work for certain items (tell Tony to leave his heels at home) and the benefits definitely seen when I unpacked in record time!
