@@noob_in_youtube842 all character have an ability assigned from the previous game that reflect the character, Luigi invisibilité because he's shy and wario the metal because he's heavy and strong, mario got the winged cap and the balloon but there is no way we remove the flying cat from mario, and nobody wants to see fat waluigi either, it doesnt fit him.

From what I hear people just agree that he was planned for the game but removed somewhere during development due to all the purple and if I remember correctly in the handbook, there is a purple bunny insinuating that he was here at one point
I think there is a slight chance that a white bunny can spawn and if you catch enough you can go in the door and get another star

It would make sense because Bowser turned the mushroom people into bricks in the Super Mario Bros and when you finish Mario 64 Bowser drops a star, but it doesn’t add to the star counter when you return it to Peach castle it literally turns into Peach

I remember when I was 11 or 12 and I told all my friends about waluigi being in the game and how I wanted to unlock him and then they found out it was fake and they probably all thought I was a liar but no, just gullible :(

Fun fact: My brother Logan actually opened the blank door once, just to show me. What was on the other side? Nothing, only the sounds of gears grinding. I although forgot how he even opened the door.
You have to get 7 white rabbits, I think they spawn after you beat the game, and behind the door is an extra star. Hope this helps!
I know someone already said but yeah, there’s an extra star behind there that he probably got and either forgot to tell you about or chose not to. I’ve never heard of the gears though so now I wanna know about that haha.

When i was like 9-10 did everything to got it, like attempting to break the peach window in the castle bridge with metal wario using the cannon, i thought there was a secret level inside with the purple rabbit that appears in the game guide. Good old days.
I was exactly the same, I probably tried for like 10 hours if tutorials plus random things on my own to get my favorite purple boi

You left out two key details that can be used as evidence that he was meant to be in the game at some point, that being that there a hole in peach’s castle and and purple rabbit in the manual

He is talking about the menu screen outside of peaches castle there was a square in the wall which felt odd because if you went there it wasn’t there
I swear I remember opening that door and I think it was toad giving you a star but at this point it's like a blurry memory and I don't even know if it's true
One day Super Mario 64 DS needs a remake that adds Waluigi (I know the game is already a remake but a lot more could be done)

All theories aside, it’s strange that he wasn’t included in the game. Given the fourth door being right next to Wario, it’s almost as though they were planning to add him but decided not to for some reason.

I have been experiencing a mandela effect for years because I swear as a young child that 4th door was purple and had the Waluigi symbol. I didn’t buy magazines and I didn’t have access to the internet so idk where I’m remembering that from
Nintendo just does EVERYTHING for Waluigi to not be in the best things possible
Something interesting, though- there actually is a bit of evidence proving he was planned at some point! In the game’s manual, one of the pages shows a character talking to a purple rabbit (countering Mario’s red rabbits, Luigi’s green, and Wario’s orange), which is never seen later in the game.

I have a crazy ability idea for walugi I call it gymnastics. walugi starts flipping like crazy and he only gets faster the more walugi runs with gymnastics but be careful cuz after a certain speed with gymnastics if walugi bumps into a wall he'll lose half his health

I remember back in 2010 I was trying to find was to unlock Waluigi constantly! I looked through every secret area, I kept finding secret after secret but I never found Waluigi. I tried Wwwario's method in 2013 but I still didn’t unlock him, it was then when I realized Waluigi is not in the game… 😬😬😬
It’s probably just cut content of the game but I hope that for the next Super Mario game that they make Mario,Luigi,Wario,and Waluigi playable and maybe even one of the toads

As a kid I thought there would be a 4th character there i later used hacks to check out what's behind the 4th door it's literally nothing from what I can remember
It's not literally nothing, you can get a key by catchin 8 special white rabbits then if you open the door you get a star.
That's all it is

He was supposed to be a link game character. Link your game to a Wow! Waluigi game to claim him but it never released and so waluigi in 64 DS was scrapped

Well it wouldn’t make sense. To switch to Yoshi from Mario, Luigi, or Wario, you just had to go back through their door again.

You can only unlock that door after you get EVERY Key obtainable but all you get is a Star .-.
door 4 was for yoshi because bowser knew yoshi was on the roof and yoshi would of gotten confused about where mario, luigi and wario was.

For the 4th door you need to catch a Ton of white rabbits in the castle and then when you go throug the door for All that hard work you get 1 star

Peach was unlocked after saving Princess Peach originally but that wouldn't make sense as she's just known as the "Damsel-In-Distress."
