I'm so glad yet another youtuber is acknowledging how broken Luigi's backflip is in this game. It's literally easy mode, it can get you almost anywhere and it's the best movement option by far (it's almost as high as a triple jump!)
Actually it can be posible to collect 100 stars with no coins. 50 are not posible: 15 stars are 100 coins 15 stars are red coins 2 stars that need to colect coins (bomb omb mario to the sky and tall tall mountain ring coins) 6 stars that are need to complet previous levels to activate (cool cool mountain, letal lava land, wet-dry world and tick tock clock) 12 castle stars: 3 Bowser red coins, 3 caps coins, 3 character world coins, 3 red castle coins (boos, acuarium and mario fly in the sky)

If you want to make the koopa the slow rematch in THI much harder here's what you do start the race and go the complete oppisite direction,there's far less coins to dodge but its much tighter,you can just barely make it in time

Could you not get the slide stars by very slowly jumping up the slide, you can do that in SM64, I'm not sure about the DS version though.
