These videos are really good for listening while doing something else so a compilation of them is amazing as you dont need to change video every 10-20 minutes.
I would just use music but if your actually interested in the listening to what hes actually saying then thats good but after playing through it all once you are unlikely to want to use it again and youll eventually run out of complemations. I guess its kind of like a podcast when used in that way and I can see the attraction of it.

I'd just like to point out that calling them warp pipes is perfectly acceptable instead of warp zones. Unless someone really got on your butt about it.
I do find it rather amusing that you don't know a trick in 1-2 to get on top without having any coins and that trick is to go into the area that you normally slide under( this is the area that you can clearly see at 1:25:25) but if you have a super mushroom you can break all of the blocks and build yourself a staircase and it's surprising how many people don't know this particular trick

Wow this collection of videos is great but there are two games in the classic Mario Brothers line up you are forgetting Super Mario Brothers 2 and Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels
