    nice mods, but pls tone down the constant bltching for subscription and money and hitting bells and all that jazz.
    give your viewers a little credit, (not least if you want credit from them), you can bet, if they like what they see, they will also subscribe for more.(usually, how it goes)
    just as you, likely do with other channels you like, I reckon you were able to conclude that on your own and subscribe etc, without somebody guiding you, - like your ltd and needs guidance for the most obvious things.
    but great video +1 but if you make a series then perhaps put your videos in series, so the next video is related, that would do more for your channel..right now its just some other channel there is coming after this part1 video.

      Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate honest comments. I hope you appreciate honest replies too because I don't feel I am pushing as hard as you say about subscriptions and support. You make it sound like I am bombarding the video with this and that I am needy or greedy, which is far from who I am. I am making sure that this "call for action" is always quick and just a fraction of my content duration, because I don't like this behavior of other creators either. Nevertheless, I will watch my video again, maybe I did something differently and I don't remember

    At 1.09 you cut the QR-code sticker saying it is not needed for warranty. This is not correct. I have just contacted Radiomaster about a problem with my TX16s and before they would send out a replacement part, they wanted me to scan the QR code sticker so they could accurately date the manufacture. I had lost the sticker so I scanned the sticker that was on the main board and they were ok with that.

    • @muteFPV
      @muteFPV  3 года назад

      At 1.09 I say that removing the sticker does not void the warranty, which is true. It means that you can open the radio without losing the warranty. This is what radiomaster had told me and this is what happened in your case as well. I did not advise to destroy it or throw it away.

      These are just recommendations, you don't have to do any of them if you are happy with your radio. As for the printer, you can either own one, know someone who does or even order from a local 3D printing service. I did the same before owning one and still do for parts I cannot print myself.

      No worries :) I am sure you will find a solution locally if you really need to do these mods. As for the radio, it is actually a great value for money right out of the box. Many people use it stock. I like modding my radios and bring it closer to my taste and needs - but on the other hand I have never owned a very premium and expensive radio to know what quality "feels" like.

      Noted, thank you very much for the feedback! Was it annoying or just weird because of my muted content so far? If it was annoying, was it because of the music lowering for the voiceover and then going loud again? Or for another reason? I always take feedback seriously, please let me know. I am experimenting with a bit of voiceover because it is something a lot of people have asked for in the past.

    Hey Buddy awesome series for the TX16s, is there any way that you could help me assign the two sliders to operate one channel each, I have a dozer model and need to raise and lower the blade ( one channel) and tilt the blade ( another channel) as they are servos that control hydraulics.
    thanks man !

      @@muteFPV No worries when a channel is worth watching then I will say so lol, so yeah its the RC4WD 1/14 scale hydraulic bulldozer, I did use a flysky TX with it but bought the TX16s mk2 I have assigned the switches okay after fun and games but I really need to two sliders to operate as seperate channels, and yes Im using the flysky FS-IA10B RX with PPM capabilities.

      Since it is the first time setting up the radio, you will probably have to go to the "Mixes" tab (inside the setup menu of the model you created) and enable any sliders and switches you need next to each channel. I have barely any experience outside drones/multirotors so I can't help much with servo settings (range of movement for example that may need to be adjusted)

    I guess you are still working on Part 3 . How would you add a kind of mini joystick the FrSky HORUS X12 S has on both sides in the lower edges. May to replac the 2 sliders or something else cause these joysticks would be great as camera gimbal steering.
    That would require 2 holes, 2 of these mini joysticks and the channels required - and of cause space in that area.

    Hello - Great video as always. I had a dim LED on my 6 position "chicken feet" switch and RM sent me a new breakout board in case needed. It turned out to just be some black foam trapped in the foam divider.... to my point.... as I was tearing it down to get to the breakout board I found many screws stripped from the factory. They are poor quality and being Philips.... not a good call by RM. Did you find the same issue as you did your tear downs on the RM radios? Do you happen to know the size call out of these screws used to mount the boards etc? I would love to buy some nice Stainless Hexhead replacements. Anyway, no issue if you do not know the size, but wanted to ask the man with tons of experience on these nice TXs.

    • @muteFPV
      @muteFPV  3 года назад

      Loved the description "chicken feet"!!! 😂 I don't remember noticing any stripped screws on my TX16S radios, that's kind of a bummer. You mean that the top (cross slot of the philips head) was stripped or the threads too? I will check the screws next time I open the radio, I have a ton of tiny screws for whoops, micros etc so I think I will be able to see what they are similar to. Purchasing 20-30 pieces of each screw size a long time ago is probably one of the best decisions I have made :P

    • @kydawg1684
      @kydawg1684 3 года назад +1

      @@muteFPV Yes just the cross head for the Philips Driver was stripped. Yes I too have hoards of hardware and will need to do some checks and match for swaps, but if you do identify them, I would greatly appreciated learning the sizes. Time to order some nice spare hardware.

    Haven’t tried it myself yet, but I’ve heard PTFE shrink tubing is a bit easier to work with for the throttle mod. I actually used the above tubing and heated it until it was a gel when I did this so it will never shift on me, it was a pain but you know it will never wear through

  • @SukSukulent

    Ok, this is a littlebit out of place question but:
    I have a jumper T12 and it makes buzzing sound because the wires to the speaker are unshielded. My question is: how would you suggest to shield them? Use an aluminum foil covered with tape or anyone has better idea?

    • @muteFPV
      @muteFPV  3 года назад +1

      If you can, it would help to identify the cause of the problem first. For example you can turn off the Tx module and see if the buzzing stops. If that's the culprit, you can try and route the speaker wires further away. I don't have a T12 so I have no idea how it is inside. As for the wire itself, personally, I would probably replace it with a shielded wire (earphone or telephone wire for example) instead of DIY it. I haven't used foil for this before.

    • @peculiarhumanbiped
      @peculiarhumanbiped 3 года назад +2

      not sure if it's related. I had a buzzing sound on the TX16s using the crossfire micro module. By increasing the CRSF output power the buzzing would also increase. But this is only the case if the TX16s has a second speaker. By following Bill Clark's video (ruclips.net/video/BMworCXQNe0/видео.html RadioMaster TX16S & TBS Crossfire Micro TX Buzzing Sound Solved) the buzzing almost disappeard. Once the back cover is removed it only takes you 10 seconds. So maybe the T12 has a similar issue.

    I have just ordered the AG01 gimbals 😁 And I also plan to apply the throttle mod. Or wouldn't you recommend it with these gimbals?

    • @muteFPV
      @muteFPV  2 года назад

      Mine just arrived, they feel smooth and come with extta lubricants so maybe you don't need to add any teflon tube like I did in the stock gimbals. I just opened the box so I haven't used them yet, time will tell.

      @@muteFPV Thanks a lot for your response! I have the throttle mod with the stock gimbals for 8 month now. Since it works so damn good I was wondering if I should just transfer the existing tube to the new gimbal. But yeah, maybe it's a good idea to first check how they feel with no mods 👍
