Please do more BB...Something from the mid 60's preferably. Thanks for putting in the work.🎸🎶🎙👍
Great peak in his career.
As a hack bedroom guitarist who regularly plays BB, this is excellent. Like yourself I learn by ear and watching any footage I can find. Time consuming but I think it makes you a better player in the end.
Thank you very much for the upload🥇👌🏻
Hey, thanks for the reply. It's a really great way to train your ear. And yes, it is incredibly time consuming, but so much fun!
@@stevecarereguitar I agree. As I like to say - "the notes are on the neck somewhere!"
Hopefully you may get round to doing another BB lesson.
Thanks again👍🏻👌🏻
Glad I found this. For someone 66years old, time is precious and I don't have enough to go through what you already have. Thank you so very much...
Very great value. Thanks so much. Great job. All the best. Dominique (Nice France)

real good
thank you! I have been searching for the dissection of this song since long time. valuable lesson. thanks again. ps BB tone almost the same 😉
Great stuff! Thanks. All of the D Major pentatonic licks in the "15-17" fret range (I guess in the conventional C7 shape) are amazing. Never thought of licks in that shape but it's great. and that arpeggiated lick in phrase 17 blows my mind.
Really well played. Thanks for this tutorial.
Wonderful lesson 👏 please give more lessons thank you 😊 🙏
A couple more are on the way! Thanks for watching.

Thanks a million, Steve!! This is extremely valuable! Have you thought of doing "My Mood" from the "Live & Well" album?
Best regards
Great job
You're playing part 8 between 15 and 17 the tab shows 10 and 12
they're the same notes anyway
Same notes different positions
This is excellent. I will be working on this ASAP, got to say great piece of playing steve, what colour is that strat your playing? many thanks.
Glad you liked it! Not sure on the colour of the guitar. It's a standard Mexican strat I was borrowing from a friend.
@@stevecarereguitar The colour looked like my metallic red copy, have begun working on the bb king lesson. I am determined to master it, thanks and stay well.
Good job
Very nice and a big thank you. How did you create the video with the taps above? Special tooling for that?
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I use tuxguitar to make the tab. I screen shot the individual sections and bring them in to Final Cut just like a normal picture.
Hi there, from the chord progression i can see that the key is in D major. But i can see the intro is sometimes in D Minor .. can you explain how the intro work?
Hey Tal, I'm not a huge theory guy but I'll give you my thoughts on it . Part of what makes playing a major blues so cool is being able to weave in and out of the Major and Minor key depending on the mood you want to set. BB sits in the minor pentatonic for the 1 and 4 chords in the intro to set a moody feeling. Then when the 5 chord approaches he hops into a fast major lick that really catches your ear. Try messing around over a major backing track playing minor blues over the 1 and 4 chords, sprinkling in a couple major landing notes if you like, then hop into a straight major for the 5 and 4 walk down. Good luck! Let me know if i can help out further.
Thank you so much! :)
man thats a lovely looking strat.. what is it ? that red colour with the black scratch ..stunning
That was a standard Mexican Strat I was borrowing from a friend! Cool guitar
@@stevecarereguitar looks like a deeper red.. love it thou..if hes selling im defo interested
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fuck you're awesome
I have an Epiphone Lucille. ... is that black-face ?
Hey Randy, I assume you are asking about the amp. It's just the "Chicken Picking" amp model in Garageband, which is based on a blackface Fender.
on what basis can I play it??

Do kyou have tab ?
Hey Adriano, the tabs are imbedded in the video and start at 2:07. Thanks for watching!
On part 8 the tab is written wrong to what your playing. Still a great job, 2 thumbs p to you.
Good catch! I changed it up to make it a little more comfortable for me to play cleanly.
Where is tab...?
It's in the second half of the video.
