My team would order from a blacksmith in Ukraine before the war. You can buy used from a fighter that's selling extra gear (provided it fits you) or custom order from a trustworthy blacksmith. I'd look for a fighter that has armor you like and then ask them where they sourced it
The woman with glasses? I didn't catch her name, but she was very nice and professional. I'm guessing she's European since I haven't seen her at events in the US I agree the marshals should get more credit since they run between 10-60 fighters (that have poor visibility due to the helmets) without armor. I saw one fighter collide heavily with a marshal during this event and it was pretty scary They have to dodge weapons while watching for armor failure and rule breaking. If they make a difficult call or miss a call then the fighters could get angry and argue. The wet sand and rain probably made this extra difficult They're great people and essential to the sport
