Hate to break it to ya bud, but unless you're saying the entirety of TWR is now freedom motif, that ain't the freedom motif. Completely different part of TWR
@@pearlplayaamy theory is that the entirety of TWR *is* the freedom motif and that every secret boss will feature a part of it and that Jevil is supposed to be the near pinnacle/peak perfection of the secret bosses uniting all of them under one song. My theory is that we’re going backwards and that each secret boss we encounter is the reverse order in which Gaster encounters/corrupts them. Like test subjects and with each new one he corrects the flaws from the previous subject until he has created the ultimate subject. Spamton is powerful and has immense knowledge but is mentally *AND* physically unstable, Jevil has immense power and knowledge but is just mentally unstable, and if I’m correct Sans may be on the list of secret bosses and has immense power and knowledge but is both mentally and physically stable and seems to have closer relations to Gaster than the others probably because Gaster thought he perfected the process with Sans. Also for the song for Sans I could see a Deltarune variant of megalovania featuring the motif or it could just be a joke that Sans was too lazy to use the songs and plays something else.
@@pearlplayaa It's often referred to as Freedom B, which is used in Circus and Dialtone too. It's pretty much just a sadder version of the regular freedom motif
Nope it's definitely the freedom motif, that 2nd half with the don't forget leitmotif is separate from the freedom motif itself, sure THIS song definitely references THE WORLD REVOLVING which was the part I was talking about, while the leitmotif isn't used it BIG SHOT it is used in dialtone which is also the freedom motif,THE WORLD REVOLVING was just the first song to use it while BIG SHOT and dialtone would go on to use it later. That's also why "don't forget" doesn't appear in BIG SHOT or dialtone because it was only used in THE WORLD REVOLVING as a Reference to the games main theme and not because it's apart of the "freedom motif",I could be wrong but that's just my theory.
@@Munchkino It's the part of TWR that's right after the Freedom Motif. This could be some kind of 'beta' version of it with Toby changing his mind on which part of TWR should be the freedom motif or the freedom motif was never a thing and Spamton is just using TWR's motifs for no reason.

@@KwikBR right, but this version uses a different part of the world revolving than bigshot did. Before I was under the impression that the only part of the world revolving that was considered the freedom motif was the part that showed up in big shot, but this song could imply that more of the song also falls under the motif.
The entire idea of a freedom leitmotif isn't even confirmed to be true, however it's confirmed that spamton knows about jevil, so if anything, i think this implies that it's possible that there's no such thing as a "freedom leitmotif" and it's just jevil. i still don't understand why everyone treats it as canon, when it's just a theory.
@@Lunarcreeper Because Spamton mentions Jevil, like, twice with subtletly. Even if Toby loves leitmotif connections, it'd be a bit odd for him to use the motif as such a big part of BIG SHOT for just a very offhanded mention of the character, and makes more sense for it to be a broader motif involving the whole "Unknown person put their whole life upside down" and the fact it's almost a 1:1 melody to that of Gaster's theme.
The fandom gona be silent after they realize that in this version, they just pulled from “The World Revolving” and this may debunk the “freedom motif” idea every fan made song has. Still, hoping that this was changed later down the road for Chapters 3s & 4s secret bosses to where they have the same old chord progression as the “freedom motif”
Power of NEO features a single melody that's near identical to the Freedom motif we currently have, so, no, it's actually still unlikely for the "Freedom motif" to be debunked. Plus the motif is still, as said before, in Dialtone.
I think it actually strengthens the idea that all the secret bosses will share some kind of theme. I don’t see why he would make half the song reference TWR if it wasn’t genuinely important
I feel in some ways big shot is better as a boss theme but I feel this is better for spamton neo in general and represents him perfectly. It’s power of neo with spamton slapped ontop of it with jevil’s theme playing in the last third of the song. I think using the motif found in dial tone and circus works better. However I feel that the use of dummy in big shot works better to symbolize that spamton is no better than the angry dummy
