Nice work on the install. I've thought about doing the same thing just to get rid of the rubber mounts. I didn't think I needed any extra room since I'm only 175 cm tall, but I know exactly what you're talking about when you try to ride the stock bike standing up. Feels like riding bent over with your hands in your pockets. I did put on some wide pegs and they're much more comfortable. One part I think you'd like is the aluminum Tusk brand shift lever. It's lighter, stronger and has a different bend than the stock piece plus there's no rubber to make black marks on your boot. I only paid about $21 USD for mine on ebay. Well worth it. Looking forward to the fat bar install.

Thanks mate. I will definitely look into that shifter.

The only complaint I have is that it uses a bolt with an 8mm head instead of 10mm to mount. That means you need to carry an 8mm in your kit in case you bend your shifter out of whack (which I have done before).

I had a look on ebay and the postage is a killer to get one here haha

I finally got some lowered peg mounts put on today. I think I’m going to like them.

Thanks for sharing the video ! How low are the foot that you installed? I just installed the 2 inches lower pegs from Dango design in usa and that break pedal is way to high even if i were to cut the adjustment bolt as you did it may still need to come down, do you know of any trick that may work ?

Thanks for watching mate. These pegs are around 40-50mm shorter than stock. As you saw I only cut about 3mm off the thread. Not sure why you would need to cut any more than that off. Unless your brake lever may be bent.

Anyone struggle to use the shift with MX boots on? It's Impossible for me with stock set up. I'm hoping lowering the pegs will help but I wonder if I'll need to extend and raise the shifter? I'm size 13. Anyone have a tip?

I wear size 11 adventure boots. Little bit more movement than mx boots. For me I adjusted the shifter so it sits slightly above the peg. Size 13 may be different though.
