As someone who lived in Florida most people in the us won’t shoot at weather but everyone that lives in Florida will shoot the weather.

I really wish they had released the fish puns in full.
I also am going to see him later this year in his tour, I think with the shitty year and a bit I've had to deal with I need some laughs and something to look forward to. I also hope to see BMTH tour of their new album and I'm really excited about that as it will be my first concert ever by myself.

@@littleowl22778 I've seen them twice! Once in 2014 and again in 2019. They were so much better in 2019.
Rescuing and relocating dolphins is actually pretty important. They're likely to end up beached by the storm surge and die otherwise.
Also flood water is contaminated with filthy raw sewage and full of debris and objects which could hurt the dolphin 🥺

The part about teaching kids the proper names for their genitalia instead of making 'kid-friendly' words is something I think is actually a good idea. I remember hearing a story where a child had been inappropriately touched by a family member and was talking about it to their friend at school. A teacher overheard them but because the kid was using words their parents had used to teach the child instead of the actual names, the teacher didn't realise what the kid was saying and so didn't take the appropriate actions like what they could have done if they'd known what the kid was saying.
Yes, that’s why pediatricians & child psychologists recommend teaching the correct terms. We taught ours the correct ones, but let them call them what they chose, as toddlers. Every so often we’d ask & they always knew the correct ones, too. By the time they were old enough for school, they were just using the medical names.
Simon mayo used to do a show on radio 2 drivetime called confessions. My favourite one was about a guy who got stung by a queen wasp on his "Mr Happy" and in order not to offend listeners, the writer chose to refer to "Mr Happy" as "Malcolm" which gave us the brilliant line "Pete and Malcolm were in shock..."
We should make sure that teachers are up to date with all of the latest slang regarding genitalia.
@@CNYTE most are updated about the “normal” nicknames parents use. However, there’s so many and parents just make them up as they go, so that’s not the best way to go about it either. The best way is knowledge, but not every parent is interested in that.

I think the rescuing dolphins thing was probably getting them off flooded land so when the water levels go back to normal, they aren't beached or stranded

Also, it's not like dolphins are fish and can avoid the storm by staying under water. They need to come up for air, which is hard to do with tall waves and a huge storm.

The only reason they were airlifting dolphins is so that when the waters go down, the dolphins can end up back in the ocean/ not on land

Dolphins need relatively clean, salty water to swim in. Storms may swell fresh water lakes and rivers creating brackish water, in which they will sink and possibly not be able to swim to the surface to breath (bodies have more buoyancy in salt water). Then there are strong currents that can keep beaching sea life or a dolphin could be washed inland and end up trapped in a body of fresh water.
I remember watching the first one when it was first aired. It got me into tie show.

The dolphins were tossed on land and in pools till after the storm. Lots of dolphins needed rescue back into the ocean.

Russell, dolphins have to breath. They are mammals, sweetie. They need to be rescued in hurricanes. Unless they leave the area of course. Which most will. They have their crazies too.😁😁😁
Ok, let me expain why a dolphin would need to be saved. They are often forced onto what is normally shore with the storm surge which then recedes leaving the dolphin stranded in shallow water with no access back to the sea. That shallow water they're in will drain off ending in a dead dolphin. And if you think it's obvious then you're a bit naive as to how uninformed people are.
I'm surprised sky was even aloud to swear and fast forward it.

I wonder if the dolphins were from a marine rescue center. We have them on the California coast, too. If the staff were evacuated, I’m sure they’d want the animals moved somewhere safe, too.

The only reason I can see is maybe hurting themselves on debris in the water but other than that seems very silly
It’s probably part of clearing out an animal park, like Sea World, in advance of the storm. Lots of animals are removed from areas that might be affected. There are gator parks for tourists. I think one of them has some dolphins. You don’t want to leave them if the whole place might be ruined. Essentially all the animals in the path of a hurricane seem to get relocated. I’m not sure about the alligators at the animal parks, though.
Part of the reason they sometimes need assistance is that the heavy winds and surf can make it difficult for them to swim away from the storm, avoid debris, find food, and get to the surface to breathe. But yeah, I know how silly it sounds.
