I am taking apart the books I get for extra practice and placing the pages in the chapter they correspond to. I dont have my kid write positive phrases...it as a negative effect on us🤷♀️
My son really liked the level 4 language arts. But for my son it was not enough of a review, so I'm doing rod and stuff. along with TGTB for level 5. And I didn't think the righting was enough at all. But it is a good start.
I won’t let my kids try to teach themselves but we love independent work!!! I don’t mind if my kids let a level roll on!!! We don’t do a typing course but my kids type!!! We love TGTB!!! We do writing assignments!!! I agree that TGTB teaches writing well!!!
Yes I would get it! I forgot to buy one last year and never got around to buying it so I either had to look back at the passage to see if she got everything correct, or just trust she got it all right. Save yourself the time and buy the answer book haha!
How did you get ur kids to do a lesson alone with self discipline do y’all have any recommendations on that my son has adhd so it’s hard to get him motivated to do anything he’s not in the mood for 😅 I’d love to see what y’all are doing in order to get them to want to do it so they have the rest of the day to themselves I hate having to make them do school too long cuz they should be playing more but he’s not big on rewards more interest motivated

TGTB completely revamped the language arts as well through level 5.

Can I ask, why don’t you use Abeka 4th grade math? Do you have any pros and cons about it?
We’ve never used Abeka for our core math. She used to use it for a supplement but wanted to try something else this year as a supplement
