This is what happens when kids get to be kids and shove all the garbage away. There's no bullying, just acceptance. I know this is a 4 year old video, but it's beautiful.
I get so caught up in politics and debates and wars and all the horrors of life I go down this rabbit hole for a day. Just so I don't lose my faith in humanity. It may be an old video but it's message is timeless.

As a man on the autism spectrum myself, this lucky sly dog is getting all the girls, so naturally, I wish him a long and happy life with, at least, just one of them as his love!

42, man with autism, going for my black belt in taekwondo, as well as college graduate living on my own, am still amazed at what a person with autism can do. I think autism in a way is a gift, because when it comes to our hopes and dreams, we never take no for an answer! 😉💯🔥
I hope some of those young ladies kept up with him as friends after high school. It's the later-years that can really harm them after they've been exposed to heavy amounts of socializing which seems to end overnight after high school.
I am happy to say that he's still very close to a lot of the girls he cheered with pulse some other young ladies who weren't on the cheer team but went to school with him!!
This really means a lot to me. I'm struggling with depression, anxiety and learning disabilities. The fact they beautiful ladies went out of there way to make Daniel feel welcomed to their team it just makes me feel like no matter what you struggle with that there is always someone there to cheer you on.

Autistic boy makes friends on the cheerleading team and is like the only boy in the group. Also like the only boy at parties with girls. Well I’m happy for him. My mother used to be on the cheerleading team for her high school team as well.

way to go I tried out for cheer in 1989 but I was unable to get into cheer because I wore my leg brace to help stables myself and I didn't make it because I wore my brace
coming from someone who is autistic, but not as severely as him, i think this demonstrates their bias towards mentally disabled people if a cheer team will allow him there but they won't allow someone like yourself. sure, it's helped him socially but it shows that they let him in purely because his difficulties are so severe.

how many of these people are gonna hang with him outside of school, or after they all graduate? is any of these people gonna still include him in their lives? i hope they do, but sadly it usually is just not the case, the special needs/disabled people get left behind once they leave school.
