Yeah it's kind of an underrated glitch imo. It's not a major one like a dupe or XP glitch, but it's also not a completely useless one by any means. It's more niche of course, but it has some genuine great uses in the game such as for the freefall legs like I show. It can generally be useful in various locations as well, even if just to scale over a wall or get on a roof.

Congrats! Yeah I think everyone will likely have a few deaths while attempting to get them. It's a glitch after all so actually going up THAT high and with it can get a bit wonky. It's not too bad imo for the most part though and once you get the hang of it. Still, those few initial tries you have to figure out the feel and pathing for yourself so some deaths are understandable as well as even expected haha.
I remember when I first saw this when the game came out. It was awesome

So... the fallout 76 team worked on Fallout 4 and broke a ton of crap
Even better, the main BGS team handled this all on their own! This glitch is actually a big W. Makes getting the FreeFall legs MUCH quicker in the game and easier as well imo.

I wonder if you could check out and find a exploit/glitch for the special Npcs that you can recruit? when the automatron dlc was introduced the Rust devils took over many of the places that the npcs spawn. its almost impossible to find them, some of the npcs im talking about is (The scribe and Ron staples). would be amazing if you could figure something out, keep up the great work! love your videos :)

So fallout had an update today and now every time I load the game it crashes and I tried multiple things any solution?
No issues on my end and not something I'd really be able to help with anyway unfortunately. Idk if the update somehow corrupted your save or what, but I'm hoping this isn't happening to a lot of people.
Is there two rooms or am I doing something wrong because I've not actually found the same room in the video I just found another one that looks nothing like the one in the video but I've done everything correctly
It's possible there is another room up there, but the one I showed going to is of course the one you're gunning for haha. Maybe you're not going to the correct wall or you're ending up too high/low versus where you need to be? I'd say just watch from 3:31, maybe even put it in a slower playback speed, and watch carefully as to where I go and when I do things like turns to the left so you can adjust to the correct wall.

A few years ago I tried this on pc in survival for hours and hours made it to the glassfloor lvl 2x and as high as the room 1x but not to it. So many hours, never made it.. 😥

You should give it another go! It truly isn't that hard, but a few failures or even a handful is totally understandable and can even be expected. While the recorded attempt was my first while recording, I had a few prior just for practice that did not go as smoothly LOL. Given I also said in the video that I wasn't going to do commentary over the showing of how to do it, well that was me expecting it to go wrong and having to redo it after or cut the gameplay lmao. Thankfully it went well that first time recording though. Anyway, I'm sure you could do it and wish you the best if you try again.

Maybe so, but after literally _hundreds_ of attempts, I finally just gave up assuming that I had some fundamental "anti-skill" 🤣
I posted just in case you had some additional trivial such as, keep a weapon up, rifles not pistols, or some performance settings, or something.. IDK..
Now I just use console commands to cheat 'em in _before_ going survival mode.. that and a cryo armor..
I hate cheating though.. ☹ might as well just type in a "you won everything" command before the bombs fall.. "Yay, I beat Fallout 4 in under 3 minutes!".. cr4p now I've gotta go do IRL chores.. 😥😂🤣🤣
@@Dr_Wrong Ahh I see. Damn, sucks to hear it was that much of a pain for ya. Really wish I had some extra little piece of info to give like you mentioned, but nope it's as straight forward as I explained in the video and you clearly already know. Not to say the simplicity of it makes it super easy for instance haha. And yeah I feel you on taking it as far as console commands. I've seen a lot of people that enjoy glitches because it's a nice medium between wanting to be kind of cheesy with certain stuff, but not LITERALLY cheat such as again by pulling up a menu and typing in actual cheat codes haha.

I've found that more powerful the computer the faster I need to be to do the scrap/store dupe.
But too fast on slower computers doesn't work either..
Maybe there's something with processing speed that permits calculating 'dislodging bumps' of wall geometry. Though whether faster or slower doing that, IDK..

How are you normally supposed to get into that room?
Power Armor, jet pack mod, decent agility for more AP since that's what the jet pack uses, and then some maneuvering and luck haha.

@@DemonAsylum i got them but it was light combat armor different stats then the video , i did a quicksave before opening the safe and it changed the direction of the lockpick but didn’t change the armor type
@@stoopidmonkey9100 I got them a couple of times while on this save and all I did when it came to changing was loaded a manual save that I made in the building and prior to grabbing them. To be fair a quicksave may suffice as well and maybe you just rolled the same kind of armor for them a second time. 100% possible.
