Nice job for a (my opinion) a not easy kit. I really enjoy all that videos you made and Yes... Make more like this one 😀 I appreciate for example the way you build the spandau wrapping the jacket and gently gluing all components to achieve a nice spandau machinegun. Nice Jobs !!!
Lovely work! Two very late suggestions: 1. Paint adhesion was prevented by mold release agent and/or fat, Use IPA as a degreaser before painting and you should be OK. 2. Turnbuckle tool: Form that wire into a J-hook instead of an L for faster twisting and Bob's your uncle (Is he?). I used thinner copper wire for the turnbuckles and it works just fine.
Well done. Having built a half dozen Eduard WWI planes, I fully agree with your summary. The models are well engineered but present some challenges. That being said you did a lovely job on the most intricate of the Fokker DVII liveries in that kit (I have two of those "Udet" kits and still haven't summoned up the courage to try the candy striped DVII. Cheers!
Thank you. These Eduard kits are also usually the best option for the subject in 1/48 when it comes to WW1. You can argue they’ve become the Tamiya of WW1 aircraft, setting a great standard for other companies. Apart from WnW of course
@@VilkaModels I went a bit crazy and bought 4 WnW kits last month. I don’t even want to admit what I paid, but that’s what happens when one is late to the market. 😒. On the other hand I got a Copper State Nieuport XVII 1/32 at a very reasonable price. It looks like it will be a great build. At least I hope so. I’ll have to check your video list to see if you’ve built a Copper State model for some good advice. BTW your propeller painting technique is impressive. 👍. And yes, I agree I don’t think Eduard has a peer when it comes to WWI aircraft in 1/48.
@@VilkaModels Just checked this thread again. Do you plan to build the Albatros DVa and/or the Fokker DRI that came with the Eduard "Du doch nicht" Special Edition kit? I haven't started Udet's Fokker DVII or Fokker DRI, but I did finish Udet's black and green Albatros a while ago. i.postimg.cc/sxp3m5dd/DVa-Finished-4.jpg I'm looking forward to more great builds on your channel!
Thats a clean build, dude, I love the purple and green colour combos on German Aircraft. I actually already built the Dr. I and Albatros D.V before the D.VII, I have the photos on my Instagram and Facebook pages. I don’t film all of my builds, so thats a place where I post those, as well as other updates and in progress pics.
Looks really cool!! I just bought this kit, totally using your videos as a reference! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Love it! I believe the guns used fabric belts which retained the empty cartridges within rather than ejecting them.
I was always under the impression that the belts were reused and the casings ejected. Perhaps this was different for late war aircraft.

Thank you, I appreciate it! I have some more WW1 stuff in my stash that I'm planning to build in the near future.
Sweet!🤗
Awesome result. Subscribed..

Having just looked at the CSM Ni-17, now seriously considering acquiring it, thanks for the suggestion!
