Hi Holly, nice to see your parents again after, what? 16 years. We first met in Lunenburg, NS in 2002 where we had just settled. We met again briefly in Round Pond few years later. You might remember us, a European family with 3 kids, about the same age as you on a 35' steel gaffer. We now live on the south shore of Brittany and our kids live scattered in Europe, the girl on her sail boat with partner and baby. Somehow we stumbled upon your video. Fair winds.
A year ago great share and when you plant corn you definitely get corn. So very full of love!

It's all so obvious now, how your current adventures arose from a wonderful family, surrounded by very talented friends in the magical woods of Maine. Three cheers for the Martin family! I saw the segment with you and you friend making music. Recently my brother who lived in NH passed away. He was a musician and left behind a keyboard and mixer and mic stand and recording equipment. I once watched a film PBS a film called "Ice Blink" your parents I believe are those people and you are thier kids
This video brought back so many memories for me. I went to Maine twice every year since I was born to visit my Grand Parents in Belmont (near Camden). In 1953 they bought a small chicken farm and ALOT of acres with an apple orchard. They became self sufficient by farming, hunting and fishing. Connecticut at they time they thought was getting too many people. :) What a place it was and there was nothing like the smell of the Maine coast when we went to the shore. I miss the woods. Your parents seem wonderful and what a beautiful home they built.
There's nothing like Maine in the summer. I'm sure your memories of it are just as special as my own :)

I just wanted to say what a small world, i have a boat at Knut marina and he told me the story about you and your family, and a month later i went back and told him that i think the girl your talking about is one of the few people i watch about sailing, and than showed him one of your videos to confirm it! Amazing story, keep up the great work, hope to be out there one day!

You should plug your friends bands so people can see him or buy his cds. I have a few friends that built off grid houses in upper michigan but I have never got to visit them.
