I really wish they put some fabric sleeves over the wires and stuff around the plugs to 1. Keep them protected from debri and heat .2 cleaner look, and could prevent a accidental tear while working!
Brian Pitt I know it’s been a while since you did this video/DIY.... great video, as your E90 N55 335i is what I have and the same layout. Question... You mentioned and highlighted the Injen CAi solution, which does look awesome - how has the product held up ? Any serious issues or boost leaks? Do you still recommend it? if not why? Thanks for your time and your DIY
@@yousefyasin8188 yes it’s worth it. The turbo makes a pshhh sound with a custom air intake and to me that sounds cool. It also gives a lot more cold air into your engine so it performs better and raises HP by like 10-15 depending on which one you yet.
Great video. Also N55 335i owner and very much enjoy your DIY vids. Serwus!
Cool I have a 2011 335 msport drive with 39k miles and about to do tune up too

Did the Burger Oil Catch Can really bolt right up to an N55 engine? They claim it's only for the N54

Do you need to disconnect the battery to do this procedure of changing spark plugs???
No
have you ever checked to see if there is actually oil in the OCC?
Curious how much for the catch can or whatever and what does it do for you?
Very helpful, thanks for the Inform!!

Thanks! I got it off of ebay, its an Injen cold air intake for the N55
What kind of intake?
this guy puts a nice how to video together and two losers downvote it. Unbelievable.
Phil Probably just loyal N54 fans doing their duty to hate on the N55
What kind of catch can is that? I'm really interested in doing that , it will reduce carbon build up and the need for walnut blasting correct ?
Its a www.burgertuning.com catch can.
what was the mileage at which time you swapped out your plugs? I have a 2011 X3 35i, N55/F25 with 50k miles
James Mcknight I did this @ 80k
Thank you for the update...that's good to know.
F series are specially engineered and designed for the blowby of oil. Its overkill.
