Subscriber for you. Most scrap mechanic designs are impossible to follow and yet the 20 second tutorial at the beginning made this entire contraption make sense. Lovely stuff.
The real thing has bearings on the 2 top coilovers, 2 bars connected to the live axle with bearings on both ends along with a bearing to allow those bars to twist, and a bar in the middle to create a triangular structure so the axle doesn't flop around. Yours is a cheaper option but could be troublesome for heavier vehicles ie. A vehicle with a bunch of craft bots + storage etc.
thank you, i was looking for a suspension build that was less complicated than wishbone but a little bit better than just suspension alone. this is perfect! 👍
have been watching suspsion videos for 2 days and finaly came acrross this so much cheaper and easier to make in survial and easy adapted to make more or less ground clearnce thanks mate good vid
That’s called “dependant suspension” independent suspension is what you would call a wishbone suspension. Where each wheel is separated individually. However good video 👌🏽
it has been mentioned a couple of times already, i was wrong about the name :D But indeed Jako you are 100% correct. Thank you i'm happy you enjoyed the video.
Interesting, I tried a suspension setup like this back when creative was just released, but when articulating it tried to bend the suspension pieces and that caused the suspension glitch. So it felt kind of awful and I never tried it again. But it seems like bearings have a lot more stretch now, so I guess this is finally a viable setup and I'll defo try it again.
thank you very much for this nice comment, but the sad story is most of my vids don't get through the youtube algorithme. this one did as you can see :D but again thank you
at the first i didn't like how simple it looked but after 2 months after i saw this video i did some research and realized solid axle is actually better than double wishbone in offroad
A real benefit of this is survival if you can add as many suspensions as you want, instead of upgrading them, saving component kits. You can also use bearings on the connections between the body and the bearings to lower the vehicle by extending the wheels forwards and backwards.
I gonna be the one to say the suspension system you built is not in fact a independent one but a solid axle suspension system with all the extra links.
@@Fagiano shut up you seem like ben yedder and even frigorifero, scaldino, microonde, tavolo, bottiglia d'acqua, 🤽🤽, gelato, occhiali, tovagliolo, messi

This suspension worked great for me. My vehicle doesn't get much traction so it drifts a lot but its really smooth and never flips.
the drift can be caused by either the weight of your creation or the power of your engine.

I like this better than a wishbone on the rear suspension, seems to keep the vehicle from tipping as much when I'm driving like an idiot (usually)
I have my fair share of driving like an idiot myself, suspension does help a bit on that front. Thanks for checking out my vid 😉
