Hey, I'm the one of the creators of ScrapComputers and the aim trainer, thanks for featuring! Unfortunately, due to Scrap Mechanic modding limitations, we have to either use your interaction or upgrade bind for the touch screen. I'm curious to see what score people can get, I think the record (without cheating) is 420ms.
You could always put in the description that you can temporarily rebind e to your mouse button in game, that way you get practice at the typical fps experience of point and click.
Oh lord. Are you wedge gang? 😂 with laser printing the efficiency of building a brick mitigates a wedge. (But not hyper-efficient ultralight curved pieces)
1:15 they are not modded bearings, they are bearings with glitched vanilla invisible parts on them (probably screws or mugs) That means that when you deleted the bearings and replaced them, you now have 2 invisible parts sitting on the ground somewhere in your world.
my theory is because the bearings visually turn, they're connected to the pipes with the surface that gets attached to something after placing the bearing. and after connecting to the second object they might gain collision for some reason.
3:47 I've noticed you were riving *against* the rotation of the chamber. That reduced the centrifugal force and thus the 'gravity', if you drove the other way (with the rotation of the chamber), the vehicle would've been less floaty.
16:30-A hole in the turret would be a large liability. This is one of the SM cannons like the ones you see in AlMagma's tanks. Explosives are welded into the hole with cardboard, a spudgun breaks the cardboard, and then a mechanism launches the explosive through the build.
Eeyyy! Thanks for the feature Scrap Man! The suspension doesn't actually have any glitches, the reason the vehicle feels like its got a suspension glitch is because the wheels are SUPER heavy and cause a gyroscope effect which somewhat stabilizes the vehicle.
@Crafterchen2 Thanks! The toggleable ride hight took a long time, cause I built the logic, then used coordinate editing in the blueprint to condense it to a single block.
Oh, to answer your question Scrap Man... there are a TON of versions of my Hank suspension design. I've been improving it for close to 4 years now I think.
The headlights required coordinate editing, and so did the 3 thrusters in the back which are connected layered on top of each other. As well as the toggleable rear steering. I had to flip a screw around so it could connect to a bearing and the piston at the same time.
omg thank you for putting my explosive cart on the front (despite it being one of my more underwhelming creations) ive been trying for so long 😭 btw: its some old glitch i got off the workshop i believe, its blueprint editing but im not sure how it works. i used to be able to do it though (they are stock bearings though)
lol I wake up 2 hours prior to having to get going so 6 am I watch you and then Glock9 as a morning ritual as I sip coffee. Thank you for you content creation. I very much enjoy chillin' in the morning before getting to work. 👍
4:38 that depends on the size of the cyllinder/ring, as both the gradient of acceleration and the angular speed needed to achieve 1G acceleration drop the larger the radius is, making the disorientation effect much less pronounced.
Hey bubby here the creator of the Artificial Gravity Chamber Just to point out, you had forgot to hold number 2 on the toilet to get it spinning Although you did press it once but you didn't hold it long enough
Actually there was a plane called the Corsair. The WWII Vought F4U Corsair it was a fairly successful design and even used in the Korean war. Than he said that it was fairly easy to land the Convair. In fact the landing was the reason why this design was dropped. In landing mode the pilot wasn't able to see the ground. His position was so bad, that he had no chance to evaluate the distance to the ground resulting in dangerous situations und several crashes during landing. The whole project was abandoned as they weren't able to make safe landings. I'm sure if @Scrapman would have tried the whole landing process (from flying in plane mode to touch down) in first person mode it wouldn't have been that easy.
Hey scrapman.. thanks for reminding me to sleep. It's actually 1.30am. I always make sure to watch your daily upload before I go to sleep. Love your vids. I promise I'm to asleep after this video
I'm not sure if you meant that we get gravity from earth from it's rotation or not, but as far as I know the gravity comes from earth's mass. And the big problem with a small gravitational ship is the speed it would need to be rotating. (Obviously it would need to be bigger than barely fitting a human 😄) Have a nice day and feel free to correct me if I've said something wrong 😄
One way to reduce the size problems is to have two ships connected by a tether of some kind, so they spin around a point between them. Obviously it makes it harder to get from one side to the other given the tether probably wouldn't be an enclosed passageway, but it makes it much easier to build, and you don't necessarily need to be able to get to the other side very often. One of the current proposals for how to use Starship for longer distance spaceflights is a tether design.
I really miss those videos of trying to recreate historical planes in trailmakers, speaking of… You know that one time you built the flying pancake? Can you recreate it in trailmakers?
It always surprises me how many people with deep knowledge of various sciences show up in youtube comments. There are some damn smart people that like to watch gaming content.
Sorry bro. You are the first video. I will watch a few more before I go to sleep.😅 you are always my first go-to. Lol, I enjoy your content very much. Keep up the good videos. 👍
While the last one was very awesome, I would love to see that first little explosive cart thing in some kind of weird MPM video lol ... maybe some kind of race or something where you can blow each other up. Or like a giant maze where you all start in different areas and have to eliminate each other.
5:53 If you think Yamaha making motorcycles is weird, what if I told you that they also "tuned" supercars mainly the Lexus LFA. (Apparently their collaboration with Toyota on the 2000GT was more of a design thing than a engine sound thing like they did with the LFA.)
Great video! I miss Scrapmechanic. Hopefully chapter 2 soon! Also, still waiting for his office tour... Question: does anyone know where Scrapman posts the creation submission thing on his discord?
The 'space experts' don't even know what they are talking about regarding centrifugal force. Centrifugal force is only imparted on connected bodies. They can be connected by a string or on a plane. But the fundamental force causing tension in the string or friction on the plane is gravity. Without gravity the plane would just spin independent of a floating occupant inside. Only when they hold onto the plane would the motion of the plane be imparted onto them. There would be no force imparted on them without any interaction with the plane. Since there is no gravity to hold you to the floor you would not be able to stand without something connecting your feet to the ground. You could build walls that become the floor crossing through the central axis of rotation. Where there would be variable force depending on the occupants position relative to the axis of rotation. You could not walk on the inside wall of a doughnut. You could only walk on radial surfaces perpendicular to the circumferential tangent. So imagine spokes that are walls; those walls become the floor on the relative front side relative to the direction of rotation. You would have to switch sides if you cross the central axis. Like the sharp side of a lawnmower blade is opposite on either side of center. If you are the grass and the blade is the wall. The sharp side is the side imparting the force. Once on the blade the grass experiences centrifugal force. If you build a ring around the grass it won't move the grass no matter how much you spin it.
11:25 that pipe isn't exhaust it's calad a snorkel and it's a special kind of air intake vent that allows the engine to breathe whilst the vehicle is partially submerged in deep water
While the Yamaha meme is funny, it seems to be under the misapprehension that Yamaha produced vehicles before instruments. The company's logo alone should make it clear that Yamaha started with instruments, and later moved to vehicles (because of WWII).
Hi scrapman. Day 6 of asking you to make a gyro free stol plane (short takeoff and landing) or a bush plane and try to get the shortest takeoff and landing you can (in trailmakers)
