Saw the full video. I intend to use it in car . Please let me know if the commercial purpose formula will last in hot conditions as well? Generally with gelatin it tends to become full liquid. Thank you

I haven't tried using commercial formulation in car freshener personally. But it should work well as Carboxymethylcellulose is used in car freshener gel as well. Hope that helps😊

In this video there are 2 different parts.
1st part is for house use. So only safety measure required is to check if gelatine not enough.
2nd part is for commercial purpose. In this temperature of mixing is very important for it's consistency.

for the homemade, do I keep it aside 24 hours at room temperature ? can I put it in a chiller for faster result?

You can keep it aside for 24 hours. But, If it's still watery or shaky, please increase quantity of gelatine for it to set well.
When we put it in chiller for faster result, it might become liquid again after coming out of the freezer. Hope that helps👍♥️

It should solidify within 3-4 hours. In case you are not satisfied with its consistency please feel free to increase the percentage of CMC to make it thicker. Hope that helps. 👍😊

HI Mam, How to make commercial air freshener to keep smelling for 30 days and more. The freshener is getting weak after 4 days.

There can be few reasons for air freshener gel to become week in 4 days
1. Gel is still in liquid state. If that's the case please increase the percentage of CMC
2. Fragrance oil is not mixed properly so it remained on the top and evaporated quickly
3. Your fragrance oil percentage is less. Percentage of fragrance oil used should be at least 10%-15% of total gel weight
4. Fragrance oil used is going to expire soon so losing it's strength
5. Also please remember air Freshener gel always work better in confined areas like bathroom, car or closed rooms.

Here is the Commercial recipe:
1. Take 170ml distilled water
Heat water to about 75°C
2. Add 4g carboxyl methyl cellulose (CMC) or
Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC)
3. Stir well until homogenous gel if formed
4. Add 0.3g Sodium Benzoate as preservative and stir well
5. Add 2 ml Propylene Glycol & stir well
6. Pour gel into bottles and add fragrance & colour
7. For commercial purpose, fragrance oil should be (10-15)% of gel volume or as directed by the fragrance supplier
8. At last add 1/2 tsp common salt in each bottle & stir

Mam CMC is not getting dissolve in water there are many particles that are not dissolved
Lumps ban rahe hei
To avoid lumps
1. Never add water to CMC. Always add CMC to water.
2. Keep stirring water while adding CMC.
3. If some lumps still persist try using electric mixer and continue mixing until no lumps are left.
4. If it still gives problem please try using HPMC (Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose) in place of CMC

How long will the gelatin ones last. Plus can I use agar agar gelatin instead.

Generally it can last about 2 months before getting fungus
I never personally used agar agar gelatin for this so I am not sure about it but we can always give it a try. 👍
