It looks to be a interesting addition to the scale market. Element look to now be developing their own identity in the crawler market than being a another variation on the axial SCX 10. Like all things you need to start from a known base to make improvements and this is what I am seeing now.
I just mounted the IFS kit into my RGT 86100. Had to make a couple new screw holes in the frame rails, but otherwise it worked straight out the box. Increased my steering angle so much the tires were hiring the springs. Had to bring the epa down 50%, but it's a RUNNER now.

Or throw leaf springs on the back and you have most Chevy and GMC trucks built after 1990 covered as well. This kit and the one for the Axial have me really interested in building an IFS truck, like a scale version of the Ram Runner.
Not sure if it was said, but convert the rear to leafs and get all super scale sir. With what I've seen you do, this could be the most scale, scale truck to ever have scaled the terrain of the great white North.

Very cool and very interested. I'll keep looking for the printed IFS for my Tacoma-influenced Honcho SCX10 II. Toyota Bell Grande... Does that mean the body will have some purple in it?
How does this affect ground clearness? It appears in video that the front differential and bracketry are closer to the ground now, and the lower A-arm is much closer than the axle tube was to the ground.
@@scalebuildersguild I see, my Element kit has an issue whereby when the right front shock gets compressed it doesn't rebound, giving the truck a lopsided look on the trail until it hits another bump to straighten it out. If going for true scale IFS needs leafs in the rear to be true to almost all vehicles.
Just pickups, most SUVs since the early 90s are coil rear... and many of them (as well as trucks) are torsion bar IFS, so there goes that.
