Hey everyone, Happy New Year 2023 :) Today I'm going to show you my $200 apartment in Siem Reap in Cambodia. This is a one bedroom apartment I rent for only $200 a month, and only a 3 month contract was needed to move in. In this video I will show you around my apartment and explain everything at the end of the video. How big or small is it over there and what can I get for such a low price? What is it like? There are many houses, apartments and condos that are available for foreigners to rent or buy in Cambodia.

Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.
Siem Reap, a resort town in northwestern Cambodia, is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th-15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes preserved Angkor Wat, the main temple, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag. Giant, mysterious faces are carved into the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom.
Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares.

Nice Apartment !! For $200 is Great !! My problems are that have Mobility issues, have severe Arthritis in both Legs, so the 4th floor would definitely be a problem for me !! 1st , maybe 2nd floor Only and walking with 2 canes or a Walker near a Bunch Street Dogs would be Frightening for me !!! I would have catch a Tuk Tuk or get small Motor Bike to get to the Market?? By the way, what is the cost of a Tuk Tuk each way ???
Compared to many SE Asian countries that is a huge apartment for the money. Very nice.

Yea in the Philippines you would have to spend $700 usd a month.Unless you look in cavite or dig city near Davao airport.Sig city and cavite have some apartments starting at $400.

I think they need to focus on landscaping there so it's more appealing and exotic... Def get rid of dirt roads

Still think Thailand is currently better value for your dollar. Had a studio with gym and pool 10 minute walk from the ocean for 165 a month. More modern too. Cambodia needs to step it up if it wants to compete.
Thailand can be cheaper when it comes to the cost of living and accommodation, but Cambodia offers you the option of staying long term much more easily. @@uetravels yes much cheaper to buy in Cambodia. Condo I rented in Jomtiem listed for 47,000 dollars to buy but only rented for 165.00 per month. The opposite seems to be true in Cambodia.
You think Cambodia needs to step it up, come to Central America, it’s a shit hole here, this apartment will be 3x, and the food here sucks and the people are generally dumb.

Does the apartment complex have a security guard at night ?
The apartment building has a gate, the owner give us the gate’s 🔑, so we can go in and out anytime, but there aren’t any security guard 🙂 Thanks so much for your comment 🙏🙏
