This song will be remembered for the way the instrumental interlude just smoothly transition from Christian wedding theme to Hindu wedding theme

Isn't this true for all AR songs? He combines sounds which belongs to two different cultures in one song.

Thank you for reacting to my request! The part of this song that I love the most is ARRs beautiful transition from Christian church wedding music to Hindu wedding music, for both characters, as Trisha walks out with the saree

9:07 to 9:40 No wonder Jimmy
This happens to every AR Rahman song..
    1st time - ok
    2nd time - nice
3rd time - Super song, let me listen to it again
Eventually you ll end up listening to it on loop..

Movie review, yeah probably odd but the song? There's nothing odd about it, the song's a banger, most of the tracks from this one are!

This song started to have an impact for during but way more after hearing it again without the movie. It's really a joy to listen to and always makes wanna move. Maybe Buddy should do a revisit review for this one without the video. 😇 The new segment where buddy revisits some of your favourite songs but without the video called "buddy, do you remember this song?" and when he does and can remember it, he's allowed a wish for the next intro. 🤭

If you noticed at 5:09 seconds in this video the music is seamlessly tranformed from Christian church chorus into traditional Hindu marriage mantra, you can search for 'Mangalyam thantunane' for reference

Buddy needs to watch the telugu version of the movie just to get the high of this song. This song hits at the core of happy ending climax. This is the underrated song of this album.
Jimmy, man i correlate with you so much.
There are 4 other songs in the album which were massive chartbusters at the time but the kick i got while watching this climax made this song my favourite of the album. It recaptulates the experience of watching the movie first time.

This movie was a hit because the direction of this movie was out of the box. The interaction of characters, expressing emotions in a true way rather than making it cheesy/ over the top. The grounded characters, dialogues and the music of ARR just made audience feel as if they are watching their friend that’s why it connected with so many high school/college going audience.
You should have seen any blockbuster movie of 2011 to understand the cheesiness.

This is probably the least rated song in the movie. My rating list of the OST would be [1] Mannipaaya (that aching love ballad) [2] Omane penne (blossoming love) [3] Aaromale (heartbreak) [4] Vinnaithandi Varuvaya (sensual intense ballad) [5] Hosana (just a feel good song similar to Anbil avan) Sorry could'nt help it. One of ARR's benchmark albums.

When I was younger (I have never seen this movie btw) the song Hossana would always play on TV, that’s probably one of my all time favourites now (although the English language part in the middle is a bit annoying). I also really like the song you reacted to here but when I played it in the car, my mum told me to change it lol. I was worried for you that Buddymeister would do the same, it’s always hard to share your favourites songs to others, especially the polite “yeah, it was … good”

Request to review the movie SHABD 2005. It definitely didn't do well at the box office back then, but the plot was ahead of its time, and it has very good songs and quite interesting performance by Sanjay Dutt, something that is so different from his usual image as a tough guy. Anyway think of it, and keep the great work. ♥
