Sh. Abdal Hakim is like the eye of the hurricane for the umma: always teaching calmness and balance amidst the turmoil. May Allah bless him, his loved ones and his work.
Great, varied selection. Even the summaries are thought-provoking and illuminating. But also special mention to the excellent cinematography?! Loved the page-panning
I thanked Allah For the joys of life And he blessed me I complained to Allah About my pain And he relieved me I told Allah Why I was sad And he consoled me I kept on asking Allah For help But he delayed it To forgive me And to make me resilient Thus when he answered I understood his wisdom And became stronger In my faith I needed a private place For a personal meeting With Allah For I was so overwhelmed And needed consultation So I found sanctuary So close to Allah Just me and my Lord In prostration
Love's Secret will be my go-to insh'Allah. I'm all about those journeys to the beyond and the 'divine openings' that the divine bestows on open-hearted humans.
I looked at Gaza from the window of my heart And saw the destruction of precious lives Flattened homes and shattered dreams But when my gaze fell upon the sorrowfull eyes I saw the overwhelming calm And acceptance of God's decree The people here were true believers Valiant, courageous, resilient and faithful But when I turned to look the other way There was utter despondency and fear For these people had waged a war against Allah The most powerful and Just Lord of the Worlds Then I looked towards the Muslim leaders But they had sand in their eyes And their hands were tied As the Ummah awakens O Allah free Palestine! HasbunAllahu wa nimal wakeel
In the breaking of dawn The passing of the night The rising of the Sun And the hymming of sparrows I saw you Allah In the drops of rain The sprouting of seeds The blooming of the rose And the scents of Spring I saw you Allah In the union of marriage The signs of conception The endurance of a mother And the birth of a child I saw you Allah In the play of the toddler The passions of youth The dedication of a father And the shield of morality I saw you Allah In the trials of life The soreness of the heart The weakness of limbs And the consolement from prayer I saw you Allah In the leaving of the day The glory of the moon In the final breath And the tears of the family I saw you Allah In the crowing of the cockeral The lamenting of the dogs The harkening of the blackbird The silence of the wind And the call to salaah I saw you Allah As I overheard the compelling warning "O mankind hasten towards good Lest death Soon overtakes you"
O Ummah of broken hearts! Keep calm! For the scorching fire of Hell Will not die out Like the fires from the piercing bullets The treacherous grenades And the murderous bombs, of the cruel oppressors And glad tidings for the Martyrs Who are surely 'Alive' Indeed the everlasting blaze of Hell Awaits in anticipation Those who oppress Humanity And where Death is no more There is no Escape O Ummah of broken hearts! Keep calm! For the gardens of Eden Where the rivers flow And the gentle breeze, cause the trees to rustle In the sweetest melody Under the shade of the glorious Throne Will abide forever Those who are patient, grateful and compassionate And love and help each other For the sake of Allah O Ummah of broken hearts! Keep calm! For there will be no pain, or loss or sorrow in Paradise But peace and joy and everlasting love And most precious of all The pleasure of Ar-Rahman, our merciful Lord O Allah! Please have mercy on thy creation Guide all mankind to the path to Paradise And save Humanity from the path to Hell For the sake of thy most beloved Prophet ﷺ Surely if the tyrants knew the Truth They would not be oppressors Indeed it's not the eyes that do not see But the hearts that are blind O Ummah of broken hearts Keep calm!
what a joy too see the video! جزاكم الله خيرا! Maybe we can make a little recommendation thread here in the comments as well if that's okay? I'm in need of good reads!
Children of the silk curtains O children of the silk curtains With bright shining eyes When you reach the garden Please convey our salaam To the guardian of infants With the flowing white beard Surrounded by angels O children of the silk curtains Innocent and pure When you reach the garden Please convey our salaam To our prophet Ibraheem Whilst the celestial nurturers await to hold you O children of the silk curtains With the cheeky smiles No fault of yours that you were martyred But Allah wanted that you play in heaven So when you reach the blessed garden Remember to convey our salaam To the guardian of infants For our hearts are bleeding And your sweet memories Will forever remain And Palestine one day Will be Free...
Salam can you please recommend to the Shaykh to do a paradigms of leadership series on Ahmed al alawi mustaghanimi and Abdal qadir aj Jazairi. People are asking for it. Thanks 😊
Glad he mentioned the native Americans. Todays european colonial settler enterprise is on the same trajectory and in another 200 years , maybe much sooner , there Arabs will be virtually extinct.
Until the pages are turned blank and the Quran is lifted back to The Lord, leaving jinn and mankind without divine guidance and the sun raising from the West
May Allah preserve our dear shaykh, amin!

I thanked Allah
For the joys of life
And he blessed me
I complained to Allah
About my pain
And he relieved me
I told Allah
Why I was sad
And he consoled me
I kept on asking Allah
For help
But he delayed it
To forgive me
And to make me resilient
Thus when he answered
I understood his wisdom
And became stronger
In my faith
I needed a private place
For a personal meeting
With Allah
For I was so overwhelmed
And needed consultation
So I found sanctuary
So close to Allah
Just me and my Lord
In prostration
We love you shaykh, thank you, Allah bless you.

Children of the silk curtains
O children of the silk curtains
With bright shining eyes
When you reach the garden
Please convey our salaam
To the guardian of infants
With the flowing white beard
Surrounded by angels
O children of the silk curtains
Innocent and pure
When you reach the garden
Please convey our salaam
To our prophet Ibraheem
Whilst the celestial nurturers await to hold you
O children of the silk curtains
With the cheeky smiles
No fault of yours that you were martyred
But Allah wanted that you play in heaven
So when you reach the blessed garden
Remember to convey our salaam
To the guardian of infants
For our hearts are bleeding
And your sweet memories
Will forever remain
And Palestine one day
Will be Free...
The Shaykh has returned from occultation

Glad he mentioned the native Americans. Todays european colonial settler enterprise is on the same trajectory and in another 200 years , maybe much sooner , there Arabs will be virtually extinct.
If they don't "resist" with arms they will survive, just like the indigenous peoples in North America.
Until the pages are turned blank and the Quran is lifted back to The Lord, leaving jinn and mankind without divine guidance and the sun raising from the West
What is he saying in Arabic at the start? Please help. Thanks!
