“One of those days that I don’t have much of an agenda!” And that’s the dream right there!
its what I live for!
That's why I ponder on Wisdom 13:1-9, I see it all around me, but these videos take me back to growing up in the old Miami, and the wooden catwalk under Card Sound Bridge. Had to watch your step or get wet, and cut on the barnacles getting out.
The Handy Work is EVERYWHERE ☝️✌️
I’d be interested in a stubby for sheepies on rock piles. What’s it’s effective range for sheeps and smaller snapper?
Right down to the hair. Amen.
@@tonygville2969 same here
Dude, you're like the Bob Ross of fishing.... calm personality and awesome videos. Loved it!
I take that as a compliment, was actually Mr. Ross for halloween 😂
Oh it was definitely a compliment! I love bob ross!!!
I respect how you only take what you need and leave a place basically untouched.
try to do good!
I just want you to know, if you don't already, but you are one of the last of a dying tradition in Florida. My family are the Robert's, Ala "florida" Robert's, and Ed Roberts. You are carrying on practices and living in a way that, though they didn't have modern tech, they did, and I applaud you for it. I'm currently living vicariously through your videos, so many childhood memories unleashed. Thank you.
Really appreciate the kind words! 🙏🏻 glad you enjoy the videos!
You are smooth on the water and make it all look so easy! …I can’t get enough of your channel! Great stuff!
Living the dream, thanks for taking us along, you're a good dude Aaron!!!
im tryin!
Another great video and thanks again for taking us along to your special place. You always break everything down how and why you are doing things and love that. Keep em coming and enjoying life as y'all do .
love to hear you enjoy them! happy to bring you along!
The simplistic approach - the beautiful backwater, the shallow water aquarium and the meal (sheepie) taken for one purpose which is dinner! I respect and appreciate how you share each experience. I've learned so much from you and for that I am grateful
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks so much for the feedback!
The under water footage is so calming. Such a beautiful ecosystem. I really respect how you take just what you need
🙏
We love when you have no agenda. Usually means a trip to the mangroves. Love these
haha glad you enjoy them!
Hard work, dedication and pursuit of one’s ambitions is exactly what Aaron is sharing with us. Nothing comes easy…but easy isn’t worth pursuing. Tight lines my friend.
Love the mangrove swims and catch and cooks. Never gets old. It was 47F this afternoon in our slice of ocean.
love to hear it! and no thank you haha!
Thanks Aaron, watching you has really become a relief for me. I love vicariously going out to dive and spear fish! I appreciated especially your early morning recording and allowing us to experience that waking feeling, as we stood on the balcony to see the beautiful horizon that the world dreams of experiencing. I gain a lot of knowledge from this channel 3, and feel like I have gained even more experience. I texted you about doing a one person add-on to a charter and he didn’t have any available space so while I’m on here, I would like to request that anyone reading this message that has a spearfishing charter if they’re open to another Spearo, I’d love to get on one in South Florida! John
really love to hear that, thanks so much for the positive feedback keeps me going!
Reminds me of following Brooks in the Wilderness of Newfoundland as a kid. It’s a funny thing because I always want to find the next pool, just around the bend, just one more pool. Having long since accepted that I was not home for supper, now the reality of stumbling back down in the dark.... ahhh good times. It never leaves you.
haha thats what its all about!
Nice pulley on your plank. Good idea! So fun to watch your adventures. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
haha made my life way easier getting on and off that thing! haha almost went in a couple times.
Nice Sheep!! Yea they come all the way up to Long Island and Southern NE in the summer. Super cool spot, thanks for sharing!
thats wild pretty cool! thanks for tuning in!
I really enjoyed that journey, great intro as well.i always enjoy that trip out there as well. From my view it's always awesome to see you cruise out to your tranquil spots. Thanks again Aaron, enjoyed the journey!!!
glad you enjoyed it! thanks so much!
Exploring those mangroves is one of my favorite things to do. The peacefulness and fun of exploring these areas is one of the best parts of fishing the Keys.
it never gets old for me
It’s just an amazing pleasure to get into the water with you visually I mean. I can’t get enough of the pure beauty that the Keys hold. Thank you, Aaron for taking us along....
love to hear that, thanks so much!
Even the videos, where you don't have "a big agenda" are so beautiful and interesting. Love your videos and love how you narrate! Keep up the great work!
love to hear that!
Loved seeing the years of undisturbed leaves under there. Thanks for showing us those places. Breath of fresh air you are.
I thought that was super cool. humbling.
Future island
Love those secret lagoon dives. Reminiscent of some childhood adventures. Cool stuff sir Aaron...keep on keeping on!!
they never get old!
Capt. Aaron, thanks! Really enjoyed the show, truly spectacular. Please do more similar ones when possible, very grateful.

Sweet video Aaron, thanks for taking us along on the adventure! Nice Sheeps Head, loved the cook up! Dive Safe, Have fun! 🤿🐟
thanks so much for tuning in!
Love the plank/rope set up to board your Ghee. Great idea. Sure beats climbing over the mangrove roots. Sheepshead is a great fish to eat. I used to catch them all the time off Lantana bridge using fiddler crabs.
haha made my life so much easier when came up with it. almost fell in a few times and that was enough for me!
Like the dive videos back in the mangroves. So cool, remind me of alot of the snorkeling I did as a kid. Yes like you I could spend hours browsing those creeks. Thanks for bring back the memories.. Sheepshead is a delicious fish and I bet so was those smoked gouda grits!
glad you enjoyed them! and it def never gets old
Its amazing the life these little mangrove stands hold !
right! love it out there
Love seeing the mangroves adventures. Especially when the sun beams down in columns. Amazing.
really is magical down there!
I appreciate you sharing your dives. I was born in Kingston Jamaica where I learned to dive before I was a teen. We moved to Miami Florida in 1970 where the fishery was like Key West. I continued diving and used rod and reel only to catch snook. I was 33 when hurricane Andrew struck Miami. I was on a motorcycle after Andrew made landfall and was hit by a car. I had a left foot transmettarsal amputation and skin got ripped off the top of the foot. I aslo got 6 screws in my lumbar where it is fused and stenosis in C 6- C-7. I was not able to dive any more because even with neopreme socks it kept taking off the skin graft. Thankful for your videos it brings back memories. In the 70's Miami fisheries was like Key West.
really love to hear you enjoy the videos, hate to hear about that accident! happy the videos help. thanks so much for tuning in 🙏
Thanks for sharing your awesome video, must be awesome fishing in those tunnels, mangroves 👍👍
glad you enjoyed them!
I’ve said it once and many more, you are the king of laid back you tubers. Great video content Dibs!
I love that you were so happy with the 1 fish knowing tomorrow, if possible, you could come back if needed. ‘Til next time.

Videos with you driving the gheenoe are my favorite!
haha love that thing!
I love that creek behind ur house..in summer I'd be in the creek cooling off with a cold corona in hand..awesome channel
haha always am!
Love the mangrove episodes, they are like underwater rainforests 😀
they really are!
Thank you for showing us some more gheenoe love. Thanks for another awesome video Aaron....much love from the coastal Brunswick, Ga. Appreciate taking us with you. Safe seas, tight lines, and food on the table. Preciate you!
happy to! thanks for coming along!
Try your next sheepshead grilled on the half shell. One of the better ways to eat sheepshead. Just basted on some homemade garlic butter while cooking on the grill skin down about 6-8 minutes depending on the thickness of the filet. Salt & pepper to taste with a splash of fresh lemon juice at the end of the cooking process. Simple but delicious.
I believe it! nice thick scales have done alot of fish like that. will def give it a try! thanks so much
Mr. Gheen would be so proud. I got to fish with him a few times in the late 80’s & early 90’s while serving I’m the military around Titusville, FL.
My Uncle was a great friend of his.
We love your videos & content. Man I would love to hang with you on a day trip fishing adventure!
Harley was a great man! I sure hope so. thanks so much for tuning in
Thank you for the calm and creative approach to fishing . I live in Sacramento CA. where two rivers meet the American River from Tahoe snow and the Sacramento River which goes into the delta near the Bay Area of San Francisco. I want to try my hand at fishing again and you inspire me to get out there and enjoy the whole experience . Again thank you!
really love to hear you enjoy it! thanks so much for tuning in!
Nice update on the new dock for the little boat haha. Greetings man
haha right! love that thing!
That's a nice fish man! I live in southern NC and we have tons of sheepshead and I've shot a few myself. There's nothing like seeing those stripes swim by!
haha right! brings back memories hunting them as a kid for me
Take the Gheenoe offshore and catch some Mahi or Tuna. That would be epic.
A friend of mine let me take his 16ft Hewes out of stock island. I saw some pelicans diving and ended up blacking out the well with Whitebait(pilchards). I ended up 16 miles south of Key West and had one of the most memorable trips of my life.
haha its been on the list for a while, I've done it before but never filmed it! thats too funny always a nice adventure!
Enjoyed watching while the sun went down here in Stuart….calm, quiet…laid back. Will have to try a sheepshead….have a small magnum woody rock gun, perfect for those areas. Thanks, Andrew
love it! and they are delish!
That was beautiful and fun!! Thanks for the saltwater therapy for the day! Keep it up man!
glad you enjoyed it! thanks so much
Nice picturesque episode! I was surprised by how much life there was in the mangrove channels that you were going through. Yup, Sheepshead are good to eat and your fiancé's opinion of the taste is quite accurate.
glad you enjoyed it!
I really appreciate your skill of making videos specially underwater footages are par of excellence.Keep fishing and smiling.
love to hear you enjoyed it!
Looking to move to the area in a few years, these vids are always a big help on what to expect/look for/train for
Love to hear it! If you buy a place make sure to call Madeleine! Haha!
A beautiful morning and I envy you going out on your day off for yourself.
I saw someone that could pass for your twin headed out, spotting a waterspout and driving through it.
I ve wanted to try that too but what few I ve seen here had more hp and wouldn't have gone as well as yours. Looked like you and crew enjoyed that blast.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing.
haha too funny, def was a wild experience! thanks for tuning in!
Besutiful, Peaceful. Great Vid!🎉
glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing when you go to the Mangroves (I hope I have that right), similar area to where you and Madeline went in a recent video? So cool! You know I'm heading over to that CCC with a Sheepshead, lol. Have a wonderful week Aaron and Madeline! Thank you for the most chill time on RUclips!

you remind me of Mr rogers relaxing piece of mind show .. .because it’s cold and raining in New Jersey. Thanks for posting 😊
haha ill take that as a compliment!
Another brilliant episode thank you sir😎✌
glad you enjoyed it!
LOL, I loved when you got onto the boat, then tossed your shoes on shore. Just made me think of a new quote for your videos "Shoes? Where we're going, we don't need shoes." Also man, tell that black cat I love them deeply, sweet little creature. Also give love to your dog, such a sweet old thing. Another great video!
haha I love that 😂 didn't even think about it! and she's my world! love her every day!
Ok that spot was pure magic!
I'm up in fort myers and we get pretty big sheepshead by us. Always fun to catch a good sized one.

Hey brother Young, so good to see you, "Clothed and in your right mind", thanks so much for bringing us to "The Spot", (You-Good), just from looking at it we can't tell where in the heck that is and "We" don't need to know, appreciate ya buddy, keep up the good work.
haha thanks so much for coming along! glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! I was surprised you even could find one in the keys I was wondered if they existed there, Let alone the lower keys. Great going!!
I have some spots that hold a decent amount of them! normally leave them be.
She is spot on in the description of sheepshead IMO. Great video!
I agree!
This is how I picture my Saturday mornings but for some reason it never happens. Funny how life works…….. another awesome one man. Love seeing those Tarpon!
haha it has that Saturday morning feel for sure!
Always enjoy your adventures. Thanks for sharing. Love making the smoked guda grits especially with cheese that I smoked. Enjoyed it.

Here in the Tampa Area, the sheepsheads are huge. Few weeks ago I got 4 with more than 7 pounds each, the biggest was 7.8 pounds. True monsters.
I believe it! call my biggest have been up in central Florida as well. those are some nice ones!
Very nice SH! I know the time and effort you put in your videos and I just want to say thank you!!
really appreciate that! keeps me going!
Sheepshead… Tis the season! Delicious fish. 👍👍
haha right!
The Mr. Rogers of the ocean. Thanks for all the wonderful content my guy
haha 🙏
Very enjoyable dive after a hard day work appreciate it buddy
glad you enjoyed it!
About 25 years ago 4 of us went up dive Hilton Head wrecks in the winter.Water temperature was about 48 degrees.Even with full wetsuits ,gloves and hoods about 35 minutes and all we could stand. We were looking for grouper but only shot 38 sheepshead weighing 8 to 11 lbs each .They were moving slower than we were.
wow! thats impressive. cold stuff right there
Diving for stone crab at night I found that sheepshead were stunned when you shine a light on them. Grabbed a number of them by hand. Would be interesting to do a hand catching video.
Real nice, I'm sure you feasted on them growing up in Brevard. We still get some chunky one's off the beach on the Coquina shelf's. Prime time table fare 🤙🏼
I def ate my fair share!
That’s one fish we have plenty of here in Mississippi!!! Not uncommon to catch them 5 to 10lbs here!
We always put sheepshead in our seafood gumbo along with shrimp, blue-crab and oysters!!!
Talk about a AWSOME gumbo!!! Ha
Thanks for sharing with us brother!
Ted 👍
makin me hungry!
Phenomenal video! Thanks for sharing! And sheepshead is delicious! We used to live near Naples/Ft. Myers and we'd be stoked if we caught a sheepshead big enough to keep as we knew dinner was going to be great! I believe it's in the porgy family. And some folks will tell you that the porgy is the lobster of fish. My kids love it more than snapper, grouper, or any other fish we catch when we go down there a couple of times per year.
glad you enjoyed it! they def are great, we've eaten them pretty much my entire life. never get old!
I really love that boat 🙂 beautiful ocean view
me too!
Just got myself a nice sheepshead as well yesterday!
haha nice!
I've been fishing all my life, I'd say I'm pretty used to the feeling when taking a fish. But for some reason, it hit me the way that first sheepshead came out like it had never seen people before. A part of me wished it had stayed that way. Though, if anybody were to take it, I'm glad it was you Mr. Waterman.
I've let countless fish swim for that reason, although I hunt constantly I have a big soft spot for animals. I know exactly what you mean. its a harsh world we live in. I try to make it as humane as possible if thats even the word for it. thanks so much for tuning in
Loved it. Thanks Aaron.
thanks so much!
Beautiful! I'm out of Little Torch Key...I'm gonna see if I can explore these creeks a bit more. Thanks!
some lovely stuff up there!
@Key West Waterman thanks buddy. The Contents and all the spots around there are truly magical
Wow, what a majical spot! 😮😳 Super cool. However, I did have a thought of a shark 🦈 coming up from one of the depth’s of the deeper spots 🤣 after you shot the sheepshead. And you’re so cavalier about it. So jealous of your amazing job you created for yourself. Well done, Aaron
!
haha the sharks know me! thanks so much for tuning in!
Great video! I was super relaxed haha!
glad you enjoyed it!
Don't get me wrong key West waterman I love you I enjoy when you spearing fish and given commercial breakdowns
appreciate the feedback
Man, I spent 28 years on an assembly line and I'm watching this video building cars for GM . To me, you're the luckiest guy in the world
I wont argue that! doing my best to live my dream!
Days are numbered.. yea man, that has a lot of different meanings to it you know? Definitely going through some stuff right now. The name of your video definitely caught my attention. Great videos as always! You definitely deserve more subs!
it def does, sorry to hear that hopefully things get better! thanks so much
We call sheepshead inshore snapper here in southern Alabama. I mix it with snapper all the time and nobody has called me out in it yet. We are lucky, we have a huge sheepshead spawn every spring and can easily shoot them off the gas and oil rigs in the mouth of Mobile Bay. Awesome episode as always!
haha love it! glad you enjoyed it!
shallow dives like this can be just as fun as deep dives
I agree!
Great Vid Aaron, can't agree more about keeping the spot to yourself. The fish also need their havens. If you are lucky to find one awesome, just dont abuse the area. Love how you did not shoot the Cubera you didn't need it, that's just you brother. Let keep getting bigger and producing for the future or until you need it 😎
try to treat them well so they do the same to me! thanks so much for coming along!
That's a really cool spear gun definitely interested great sheepshead also thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the content. Tippi was eying that skin😂😂
haha right!
Man, I just discover your channel and WOW! When you go on those dives it's like a whole new adventure into a new world. Sub!
welcome to the channel! love to hear you enjoy it 🙏
I laughed when you said Winter. What winter hahaha
lol!
Great video as always. I could explore thos mangroves forever
Me too! Thanks for watching!
We're in sheepshead country here in Pensacola. Love sheeps- fantastic meat.
haha thats what I hear!
Awesome video Aaron, enjoyed keep um coming ty
glad you enjoyed it!
Another great adventure ...Thx
Thanks for watching!
You make me miss Florida with every episode. I may have just make the move.
I guess thats a good thing!
nice video That's pretty cool I like your loading ramp.
haha glad you enjoyed it!
No worries about filming. I don’t blame ya for not taking anyone to that spot of yours. A lot of people unfortunately would not respect that mango spot and they would destroy it and the beauty would be gone as we know it.
Thank you for filming
yea its sad but true! thanks so much for tuning in!
Great video Captain 👍
thanks for watching!
That's a slick boarding plank you devised, don't believe I've noticed that before. Gouda grits, heck yeah. I've been on a carnivore diet for about 7 weeks and my morning grits are definitely missed.
haha makes my life easier! and thats gotta be tough!
