Thanks for tuning in! Been having an issue with RUclips processing videos to display in 4k. Sorry about that! Be sure to hit like if you enjoy the video, helps a ton!
Amazing I'm sure to see a tree in the middle of the ocean 🤷💯👍🏻👍🏻
AND SHARE THE VIDEO!
That tree was awesome, the tree of life 👍
doesn't matter if it was 2k I'd still be here brother 🙂
Yea I love fishing and am a Jamaican
Love 6pm mondays
Me too
love to hear it!
One of my favorite things about your spear fishing videos is that you are teaching respect for the resources being harvested. I’ve spear fished in south Florida, the keys, and near Bahamas for 45 years and have seen so many abuses of the resources usually because of ego or ignorance.
I appreciate your teaching and approach, peace.
dont get me wrong I fill the boat from time to time but its never wasted. although the older I get the less I need. hope to pass along that message to take only what you need!
Aaron! If you ever wonder if what you are doing has an impact - STOP! Your videos are not just an escape from reality for so many, they are not just educational for others, for some.... they are a life saver. I started watching your videos about three months ago in an effort to distract myself from the trauma of divorce. When I was feeling dark and heavy, and tired of crying, I would play one of your episodes to calm me down. Over time, the pain of my situation lessened, but I could not stop watching. I have watched at least 50 so far and I am determined to watch them all. I work, part time, as a safety diver on a shark boat in Jupiter Florida. I am an ocean lover and an amateur (at best) fisherman. I just wanted to drop a comment to say, "THANK YOU!" Thank you for sharing so much with the world and for providing people not only an escape from reality, but an escape from pain. Keep it up brother!
can't thank you enough for taking the time to share, really appreciate it and love to hear you enjoy the videos on that level. really keeps me going. 🙏
One of the best things I like about all your videos is the transparency. You show the good along with the bad. Always look forward to your and Will’s videos. No need to respond, I see your channel is getting pretty massive(CONGRATS MAN YOU DESERVE IT!!) We understand the amount of time it takes.
Also yes would definitely be interested in cave diving. Literally any type of fishing/diving/maintenance video would 100% watch the entire thing
I try to keep it real! too much "Hollywood" going on in todays world. thanks so much!
We just found your videos and subscribed to your channel we love watching the cooking videos also, we also watch Kelly Young videos are y'all related? Both of y'all are great to watch and learn new things. Thanks again for your videos...🙏 Chuck and Kay
That was a tree of a lifetime. The life around it was amazing.
this one was the second I have found this big in 33 years!
I could watch that underwater scene all day long... I like that camera shot where the drone lifted off of the boat and went high ...
Thanks for sharing!!!
thanks for tuning in!
Almost shocking, but at the same time delighted to see that much life swimming around that tree, very inspiring to see!! Bitter shame you hadn't remembered to change out that bent shaft before the Wahoo sighting. Aaron, I'd like to throw my name in for a video on cave/crevice diving and hunting! Thanks for letting us tag along on your day off and witness some truly extraordinary things from glass calm seas to the tree of life and those amazing coral heads at the end. Thank-you Sir!!
it was a delight and thanks for the feedback happy to add it to the list!
Wow what an experience! The life on that tree was incredible! And man those grouper sliders looked good... Awesome video!
it was a delight by itself!
Just found this channel. I wanted to say thank you for all the videos you have posted. I was in Key West in like 93. I dove on those reefs almost every day most days two charters. I fell in love with spearfishing and have my old fun hanging on my wall. These vids bring me right back to that daily life. I loved this time in my life and remember it fondly. Thank you again for all your time. This channel is incredible.
really love to hear that, and happy I can help you relive those memories!
We did a bunch of Grouper cheeks when we were down in FL a couple weeks ago they were amazing. Had them by themselves 1st night and tacos the second. Thanks for the suggestions and the kitchen time. Love all the content.
they are hard to beat!
Wow! That blue and yellow angel was beautiful. Amazing fish!
always a pleasant sight! thanks or tuning in
@@KeyWestWaterman thank you for bringing us along. I hope one day I can fish with you.
Escape from reality. Spot on man. Living the life. As long as you keep posting I will keep watching. Good stuff brother!
love to hear that! thanks so much!
Hey Aaron. I remember you mentioned that you would like to own a home in the Pacific. I dove many places, the vastness and sealife in the Pacific is amazing. There are big schools of unique fish in many of the islands like Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Tuamotu atolls of Tahiti (where the 100+ pounders of wahoo are). The infamous dogtooth tuna is a must-hunt for any Spearo as well. As a Filipino-American, I can say that there are thousands of islands in the pacific that are untouched and teeming with life.
thats why we want to spend more time there, its such a magical place! nowhere else like it!
“Ima show you how I fry my cheeks” had me cracking up. I know it wasn’t intended but man was that a funny sentence 😂
haha
@@KeyWestWaterman I did try your recipe and my wife who is not a big fan of fish. Absolutely loved it. Thanks buddy
I can't quit watching your videos. Thank you so much. Spearfishing and grabbing lobster was my passion when I was younger in the 80's. It is amazing how much is the same yet evolved.
love to hear you enjoy them!
You guys are such a cool couple and your children are going to have an amazing childhood!!
haha maybe one day!
I always enjoy your videos, they are so natural, instructive and relaxing at the same time, keep it up.

I get side tracked and mesmerized at times just dreaming I was in the boat with you guys.
I was born in Sarasota Fl. was raised around diving from the age of 9 and fishing as well sense being on the bridges with my pops swishing for snook. I have salt water in my veins as we say.
Keep the videos coming I’m so happy for you guys don’t ever give up living the hard dream that you do.
Thanks,
LV
I forget most of the time! haha all good, really glad you enjoy the videos.
Cave fishing - Yes please! I've visited key west several times while on vacation. I went scuba diving once but never got to do any fishing which I regret. As much as I'd love to go back I'm not sure if i'll be able to, so I'm living one of my dreams vicariously through your YT videos. I'm down for as many different activities and experiences that you're willing to film. Thanks for the videos 👍
will add it to the list! glad you enjoy them!
Thanks for another awesome video. My husband and I love your channel and are trying so hard to get outdoors more again, but in the meantime we are definitely able to escape reality through your videos.
really love to hear that! get out there so much good comes from the outdoors, thanks for tuning in
Glad you got that wounded grouper. We would love to see you do a cave dive video. Thanks for another great video!
thanks for the feedback!
Another classic video. Thanks so much for sharing, you passion and love for the water is inspiring, you're the best!!
thanks so much for tuning in!
I get so pumped up when I see you post a CCC, keep up the great work and consistency is key 🔑
couldn't agree more! thanks so much
Why is there a abundance of life around a structure like a tree? As something like a tree dissolves in the water it released nutrients. Other organisms feed on the nutrients, and things that feed on the things that feed on the nutrients and so on until you have Wahoo. Additionally it's 'something' in the water, an object to align yourself to, to guide you. It's never one thing but a multiple of reasons. Those are two that are relevant.
I believe it! the deep blue is a lonely place.
It’s something. That is the short answer. It’s the same reason why animals in the plains congregate around trees and water
Also protection(?)
@@Jpppppppp12 true as well.
Shade
Love to see you cleaning up them Lions. Glad they're good eating.
so good!
This video should only be viewed in high def 2160p. Incredible find. New item on my bucketlist...hunt a floater tree!
finally the 4k processed. was having an issue with it!
Even when the day seems to be a struggle, it made for a great video. Moved to South West Florida a year ago and can't get enough of the water! Actually had my first grouper cheeks last week! Thanks for sharing what you do!
glad you enjoyed it! and thats awesome congrats sounds like you are enjoying it
Love your videos and your family. Keep on doing what your doing!!
thanks so much!
love the spontaneous trips. That tree was amazing.
It is amazing how much time you put in to give us all this material.
glad you enjoyed it!
I do enjoy your videos so much. I have to control my binge-watching because I don't want to run out of episodes too quickly.
😂
Keep up the hard work and awesome content brother! By far my favorite channel on the tube!

Heck YES on the cave diving/spear fishing!! Love all your stuff.
will add it to the list! thanks for watching!
An absolutely feast for eyes video! The incredible amount of life was amazing…
it def was!
Hey Aaron! Loving the content & seeing the channel grow! Any chance you could do a video on mahi spearing? I know you've done one before (I know, never dive alone lol), but it would be nice to see some more of that! :D
love to hear it! and honestly they've mahi bite as been awful this year. but if they pick up I will get out and give it a try!
That barren bottom he first dove reminds me of spear fishing around Key West in only 12 feet of water in the late 1970’s. No scuba tanks just snorkels. Every day several black grouper, hogfish and plenty of mangrove snapper. At night, a few dozen mangrove snapper on rod and reel. As a kid my folks drove us down to the Keys in 1959 and we fished off a bulkhead. The water below us was alive with colorful fish, and they were not all small tropicals.
Different times! Wish i could have seen it
Aaron, your narrating is always excellent and informative and your channel is awesome. Thanks for uploading these superb vids.
glad you enjoy the videos!
that floating tree was amazing , thank you for that. nature is beautiful.
it was amazing to see! thanks for watching
That’s awesome, thanks for sharing Aaron

Amazing video again! Thanks for showing everything.
thanks for coming along!
I am so hungry for Grouper cheeks now!!! Another great video, always my happy place.
Haha
Tree of life. Grouper goes down and sliders too. Awesome video 📹. Arron. Thanks 😊
haha thank you sir!
That smooth creamy full green tinted deep morning ocean blue, almost a clay feeling to it, incredible dude!
Amen!
Thanks for the great video. images of the tree 🌳 were amazing. keep living the dream.
thanks for tuning in!
I love the cheeks to , I was in the seafood business for years so I used to do the same thing collecting the cheeks and collars. Good stuff!
haha love it!
Man I can't believe that Grouper was still alive with that kind of injury. Nice shot. Spearing was not real feasible here in the Tampa area. Viz just absolutely sucked. However, we did manage to land a 49" Cobia the other day. Grilled some up yesterday Yum!
it really was wild!
Flour, then egg wash, then bread crumbs. In that order. You'll see the difference.
such a great day on the water. That tree was special.
I've fried fish almost every way known to man. just the way we prefer it. thanks for tuning in, glad you enjoyed it!
@@KeyWestWaterman fair enough. I can never get the breading to stick without the binder/flour. Just a restaurant thing I spoze.
That's an awesome sight to see the water flat and calm. I enjoy the fact that you show the missed shots at fish. Like you have said time and again people believe that RUclips is a fairyland where everything happens exactly the way you want it to every time. Your patience pays off when you apply yourself in the manner that you do that is why I enjoy your page. Some people would just post only the great shots and awesome fish and that actually sucks because it doesn't seem real to myself at least. I watch other channels of course and follow a couple spear fishermen. Most of the time you only see when they shoot the fish or catch the fish and it gets boring because you know it's not always the way it goes. Thanks again for an awesome video cool tree to find in the ocean and yes every time you find something in the water it's usually teeming with life. I couldn't explain it nor could any of the captains that I worked with. Thanks again for the video I look forward to the next.
doing my best to keep it real, thanks so much for watching and taking the time to share!
Nice tree. Really cool to see what was going on under it!
It was!
Grouper cheek sliders look amazing... Thanks for the fishing trip on Justin's boat. Best, Stan.
thanks for coming along!
Just a suggestion, flour fish first before dipping in egg. Then the breading. Helps everything bond to it. You may not have to double dip. The tree of life was spectacular!! Another excellent video.
thanks for the info! glad you enjoyed it
always satisfied watching, you two are blessed.
love to hear that!
Great video. Nice smooth water. Great looking slider
it was a great day!
Great video, I haven’t had the thrill of seeing a tree like that yet. A few palm trees from storms but that was awesome. The sliders looked tasty
thanks for watching!
Wonderful adventure...Loved you finding that fantastic tree out there...The Gulf is simply magical...!!!
it was magical! and we were on the Atlantic this day
@@KeyWestWaterman Wow...Atlantic side and that calm...
That floating tree was really awesome to see. Great to watch you do what you do, Aaron. Gonna try your cheek sandwich recipe too. Yum!
it was a treat for sure! thanks for coming along
Dear Aaron, Thanks for taking the time to shoot some Lionfish!!!! Florida needs to make a real effort to TRY to get there numbers down.
we take the big ones when we see em!
Thank you so much for sharing your videos so Awesome my favorite was watching all the fish around the Tree so Incredible
love to hear you enjoy them!
I love y’all’s videos. Keep them coming.!
love to hear it, more on the way!
Cool tree and loved the quiet drone shot!
glad you enjoyed it!
Keeping it real as always,Aaron. Some days are trickier than others to find the feesh. Nice job getting it done!
ain't that the truth, thanks for coming along.
It’s the sauce in the beard for me 😂, kudos to that grouper work up 💪🏼🤙🏼
😂
Love the videos. Gotta add a bread and butter pickle to the sliders for me…Also, you have to try Frosted Flakes as your breading when frying your fish. Egg wash-crusted Frosted Flakes- fry to golden brown. I have never tried crack but it’s gotta be close because you will keep coming back for it.
Great videos!! You bring me back to my life living in Key West when I was a younger man running charters in the mid- 90’s. Please, please keep the content coming.
haha I have not but will give it a try! more vids on the way!
Aaron another great video. As an ex-freshwater conch I would like to see just a bit more of the runs thru the channels by the mangroves. I left in ‘93 for the west coast. I’m always trying to see familiar landmarks. Don’t think I want you to draw a map but maybe just a little bit longer. I miss the Keys and your channel brings me back in my mind. I go back to visit family every 2 or 3 years.
thats awesome! will show a little bit more especially in the Gheenoe!
Loved the Grouper cheek cooking! I’m a retired Walleye & Perch charter captain, Lake Erie. We will keep the cheeks from medium to large walleyes and use them in a wide variety of dishes. My family likes them in a Chinese style stir fry. I must admit, we never see cheeks that big, so cheek sliders are out of the question. Good job on the video, thanks.
thats pretty cool, still two fish I've yet to try!
That drone footage is absolutely amazing!!!
glad you enjoyed it
I want to see you cave fishing! The water and condition were so beautiful. Really enjoyed the TREE!
def gonna do a cave video!
Love when the Lionfish are harvested! Keep it up.
they are delish!
Lion fish taste so good just ontop for me🥰🥰 love to see how you prepare your fishes even the way you just slice all the flesh from the bone
love me some lion fish! so good!
Great video, as always. That tree and root! Amazing find!! You asked about posting a cave diving/spearfishing video--Yes, would love to see it.
glad you enjoyed it!
Freaking amazing life around that tree! It was spectacular on film, it must have been mind blowing g in person. Grouper sandwiches of any sort are very high on my list. Im definitely trying the cheek sliders next time I boat a grouper. Great video and as always, thanks for sharing. Tell M,-‘Go Pokes!
haha they are amazing! glad you enjoyed it
Great video, always enjoy your catch clean and cooks.
thanks for tuning in!
Oh sweet, we’re on the Contender!!!! I love it good and deep like!
haha right!
Awesome video. Interesting fish diversity around that tree
glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of the best fishing videos I've seen!🔥💯👑great content I'm all in!

really was awesome!
Looks like I got something new to try come April when i come back down! Great video!
thanks for tuning in!
What an incredible tree! Lucky wahoos!
it was awesome!!
I appreciate the escape from reality! AHHH, that's too bad that you missed that Wahoo! Then your friend tears out of another Wahoo, bad luck. A good number of Lion Fish & a nice technique of holding them on your shaft. Thankfully, you got a nice Grouper. Tasty looking sliders :)
haha it was a day, thanks for tuning in!
@@KeyWestWaterman You are really an amazing gentleman. I hope to meet you one day. I have spearfished 5 continents plus Ascension Island. I have not been spearfishing for years and would love to get back into it. Your videos are really the best!
That tree was awesome. Def highlight reel material even if you missed the hoo!
It really was!
Love your high production methods for stacking lions up. That tree was crazy too. We're going to try your sauce soon too. Great vid!
thanks for tuning in!
I live in Louisiana and cheeks are really great. I have even been seeing them in grocery stores. Keep up the great work.
thats pretty cool! love to see them using more of the fish
Thanks Aaron, another enjoyable video. I sure would enjoy some cave videos.
I will add it to the list!
Like butte. Lol! Pure glass. And can always use that escape from the concrete jungle. 🙏🙏🙏
thanks for tuning in!
Aaron, doing a fantastic job. Keep it up. Love the content. I’m up here from cocoa, kinda close to where you used to be. And I almost want to do what you did. So jealous, but your content keeps me sane. I love the keys, and I try to get down there as much as possible. I wish our rivers up here were in better shape. But you keep it up. Thank you sir.
small world spend plenty of days working cocoa! glad you enjoy the videos, I spent lots of days diving and spearing the Indian river, so sad to hear how down hill its gone.
This episode was exciting with the finding of the tree. I wouldn’t mind seeing you do some cave spearfishing on your next adventure 👍🏽🇻🇮👍🏽

One of the greatest things about being a guy is being able to use our tee-shirt for a napkin. The tree was incredible. Thanks for the video.
lol one of the biggest perks!
