Thanks joe for sharing your life with us you have been a true representation of live free and ride on . please continue to bring us these great vidoes . ive followed you eversince you gave out your channel info while traveling with scotty .
Lots of good people in this video. Glad you got your scoot sorted. I'm surprised an NC had clutch problems at only 20k. I want what Whit gots! A /7 sidecar AND a Valkyrie!!
After seeing that rig amsoil adam has in the last video and also this video i sure would hate to get in a tight spot in that thing. I mean definitely don't get off the beating path. That was a cool wedding there at the end.
Went to that very show this year . I have a Honda CTX 700 same motor as the NC . Got it at like 500 miles in November 17 . It is a 2015 model with 29,000 on it now . I run AMSOIL metric in it and will do 8,000 between changes. I also run my 14 Firefighter Shrine Streetglide and 05 Deuce on AMSOIL. Nice video . 😎
That was a good one Joe . The suspenseful music in the beginning , great rides. Fantastic fellowship. I enjoyed the ending going over the wedding album. That is a special group you are with to still be that tight . Time marches on faster then we think.
Did your hosts mention the annual Chincoteague pony swim? They round up so many from the Virginia end of Assateague Island and auction them to benefit the fire department.
Hey Joe I really enjoy following your travels, hopefully your channel will grow. Can't understand why more people Don't subscribe. I follow Scotty too. I am retiring my road king as at 72, my knees are getting weak. Stay Free and Enjoy your travels.
Running Amsoil in my 06 ST1300 now. Usually drop oil at 4-5,000 miles. Gonna send a sample to Blackstone to see how much life is left next time I change oil. Always thought it was 5,000 miles or less.
Joe, really good video of life at the rally and riding with good folks. Bikers have similar point of view. Can always find interesting stuff to do and talk about. Great way to spend time. Thanks for posting and ride safe.
Cannot lie to you, been to OC bike week several times over the years, not impressed, yes several times rain, however still rode.. Would not go back again...
So you did get a little Murphy's Law when changing the clutch. But Murphy was You! 😅 It's too bad one clutch pad went bad so quick. It probably would have been fine for many more miles otherwise. I was surprised how quickly it went bad when I heard you mention the mileage on the bike.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond they must have been slipping a bit without noticing. That's why I've always driven vehicles with a clutch. More efficient than a torque converter and I like having the control of when it shifts. The invention of the DCT is a great alternative to an automatic torque converter.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond I'll bet the better gas mileage will really piss off Scooter Tramp Scotty now. 😂 He seemed to have an issue with that in one of his comments about your bike.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Okay man. You went right thru hagerstown md two times within a couple months. Right by my house. I was hoping to meet you. Your videos are really good! Safe travels friend.
What does Amsoil Adam sale? It is only oil changes? You could probably change your clutch plates in a parking lot now. Honda discontinued the NC750X with a manual clutch. It's only available with a DCT transmission. I like your bike, but I don't like how Honda lowers the seat height on the adventure models. Even the new Transalp has what looks like a big cut out section of the riders seat when you view the bike from the side.
I'm not an adventure style rider, but like the idea of switching to something a little more off pavement and travel like Joe. But I don't like the idea of a 33" plus seat height. The KTM1290 looks good for the power, if I could figure out how to put on a trailer hitch. I like my trailer and the benefits of using one. But I don't care for the seat height. Do you know of an adventure style bike with a lower seat profile?
He does oil changes and sells love jugs- fans for air cooled twins. I know, it sucks that they are switching to DCT only. The seat could use some work lol
Watching your film and scooter tramp scotty I noticed that you don't wear gloves or jackets much! Don't you think it's worth it? I have come off a bike a couple of times and always been glad of the protection I was wearing! It's none of my business I know but the prospect of an accident living the life you do largely alone! Doesn't bare thinking about!! Good luck though and ride safe.
💯👍

Dude, that rig is crazy
First time I’ve seen someone cover the Delmarva rally. I enjoyed your content very much. Nice talking to you in Sturgis too. Ken & Katie
I never expected to make it to that one, but it was a great time. I prefer the smaller shows

Well said!
Looks like you had a good time Joe I enjoyed watching while leaving Las Vegas
Thanks for watching
Nice job as always Joe. I'll see ya next month in Daytona,You guys going to be at the same spot at Destination Daytona? I'll stop by and say hello.
Absolutely 💯👍
Awesome update Joe! What's your opinion of the viking brand fairings?
No too familiar with them
Now that was an adventure. Maryland, Delaware, Virginia. Working, not working it sure looked like a good time.
Absolutely! I really prefer these smaller shows. The area is really cool
I used to ride with Wit 10 years or so ago went to his house for bonfires
And also Angle I have ridden with and still a friend on Facebook
Haha! Awesome ✌️

I’ll tell you one thing- I’m getting the best gas mileage I’ve ever had since I replaced them

I’m pretty short, so the shape of the NC works pretty well, though it’s not the most comfortable
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond the NC just doesn't have enough power for me and the under seat gas cap is also a big negative.
