- In this series we start our journey through the different "Dragon" rides in our beautiful country. The iconic "Tail of the Dragon", "Back of the Dragon", and "The Head of the Dragon". The videos will also include a spinoff of the Cherohala Skyway.
Over the summer in 2022, we took nearly a 1700-mile trip that included a stop at "Ivan's" (If you know you know) to get the ECU flashed on our FJR-1300. On the way home, we were so close Deals Gap that we extended our trip to include it. This first ride is about a 7 mile stretch that you never see in most videos about the "Tail". There is also a small tease from the beginning of "Tail of the Dragon".

You want a scenic twisty road? Try Northern California's Hwy 36 to the coast. Warning sign at Red Bluff shows Windy Road, next 140mi. I don't know who counted but it has 1,811 curves.
