Hundred percent this. What did he think the truck was doing? Sometimes you have to respect the trucks, and understand they aren't cars. Slow down, let him in since you're half way behind him, then have a crack at him. At the end of the day, this driver could have caused a serious accident due to either ego or lack of situational awareness
10:19 I have no doubt that the truck would be legally required to give way, since their lane was ending. However, I feel like the DC could have refrained from being an ass about it. I mean for one, the truck wouldn't be able to adjust their speed to slot in quite as well as a car could have. And two, we don't see much leading up to this but the DC is likely to have been sitting on his shoulder, and/or speeding up intentionally but not quite fast enough, and/or proving a point based on the legal requirements. I'm not particularly saying the DC is at fault. Only that sometimes what is legally right, isn't necessarily what is fair?
The rules quite clearly state that when the lane ends and there is a white line the vehicle merging has to give way to traffic. This scenario is where situational awareness comes into play. The DC car if familiar with the area could have backed off to let the truck in or the truck could have backed off seeing that his lane was ending and he wasn't going to fit in front of the DC car. Both fail in this instance but the law would be on the side of the DC car.

Definitely looks like it has dealer/trade plates on it, so probably either someone taking it for a test drive, or the dealer taking it to a mechanic to get the smoking stopped.
10:11 my dude, it's a truck... and you're half-way behind him. Yes right of way blah blah, but it's easier for you to get behind him than him get behind you. Everyone needs to lose their egos and just let people merge. It makes fuck-all difference in the time your travel takes anyway.
Totally agree withyou. Why in the hell would you compete with a semi trailer.People are brainless and putting themselves and others at risk on the road with this type of behaviour. Its the same when cars brake check trucks. They are only going to come off second best and inconvenience themselves further.Where is the common sense?
exactly, i always give trucks plenty of room, people are morons treating trucks like another car
Think the truck had right of way didnt he?.
People got tunnel vision way too bad. Not paying attention to their surroundings.
1:24 the complete lack of remorse from the parent / guardian (to the cammer) is disgraceful. Give yourself an uppercut.
Ok easy there bud
Poor kid, doesn’t have a chance with a Mum like that.
yeah, nothing going on in there.
4:00 Holy Shit that Audi driver absolutely shit himself when the guy yelled at him. Couldnt get his door closed quick enough. You love to see it.
Wow, the dude spitting from the passenger side of a truck that turned in front of oncoming traffic, sure is a classy fulla. Not even in the driver seat and maybe that's for the best.
I was hoping that the business name would be on the side of the truck, but alas it wasn't.
It's pretty gross. The black car deserved it though. I'm sick an tired of seeing people drive around with their heads up their backsides not thinking of other motorists.
@@Big-Show1wtf are you talking about? The truck has to give way, they were turning onto the path of another vehicle already travelling. Truck 100% in the wrong, and passenger disgusting excuse of a "man" spitting like that when he wasn't even driving. Feral
@@sneakybogan It's not so much about the rule of law in this case but more to do with road manners. Because the traffic ahead of her was literally stopped there was no need for her to close the gap ahead of the truck and block access to the side road. This is where situational awareness plays a key role when driving. Unfortunately these days the roads are full of brain dead dumbasses and gross people that spit🤷♂️🤢
I like how everyone at that junction in 9:11 was watching that car plough through a red.
Was it a situation of a Karen being asked to wait or Maccas staff having fun with a known Karen ? ... "Sorry ma'm please wait over there while I roll on the floor laughing .."
Doesn't have to be a known Karen because true Karens will introduce themselves with a stupid story about how every time their come here... Which raises the question of why keep going back?

@@marcoderosa-ej4gz you're not wrong. I used to work in Sydney's Star Bar years back, and it was right next to Town Hall George Street Macca's and the amount of rude customers there just made me dejected and angry. They would always be rude over something as simple as "there's not enough fries in here" or a simple stuff up (it happens when customers don't speak proper English... and I'm talking about even the ones for whom English is their only language).
I hated how they thought that was an excuse to treat their fellow human with disrespect to the point where if Macca's ever stuffed my order up, I made it a point of principle that I'd never go back to get it fixed and direct any annoyance at myself for going there in the first place.

10:10 I would of thought the person with the dash cam would have to slow down, be aware that it’s merging into one lane and you have a giant truck technically in front of you 🤷🏻♂️
then you don't know the road rules. The truck had to cross dashed lines and was required to give way, being in front has no bearing in this situation.
There's also an exit to the left and no indicator from the truck. Likely believed the truck was going left

We are simply more likely to see clips from drivers who don't back off. Think about the clip where the driver didn't let the truck merge, but let's suppose that he did the truck merge. The clip wouldn't have been interesting, and the driver would not have sent it in. We don't get to see clips like that because they are simply not interesting.
