  • Memorial Day Weekend 2024. This hike can be found just south of Olympia, Washington. My longest hike in at least 2-3 years, 14.5 miles and 1650 feet of elevation gain. After initially parking in the lower lot we discovered that there is a nicer upper lot with a vault toilet! The weather was cloudy with occasional showers and perfect temperatures in the 50s. I thought we would do 7 miles but after seeing various loop options we decided upon the longest one, so glad to have been here, looking forward to a couple more trips to see other hiking trails in the area. This hike was filmed the fourth week of May 2024. These videos are made in real time and not sped up or edited in any way, what I see is what you get. Please enjoy, subscribe, like, and comment :)

Thanks Dolley :) Wow, you went to a small school? Only thing I saw in Littlerock was the gas station, saloon, and school.

They have ATV trails that you could take an e-bike on. We did see 1 e-bike on the hiking trails, it didn't bother us. We were told by someone that the forest only has 2 rangers and they don't enforce rules but clean up areas and check on trail status's.
