The Harley Sportster, the Night Watchman cap, and the Awesome Michael Parks. I loved TCB when I was 8. Still love it at 57, and the concept of the show. RIP Michael, you seemed kind and sincere . I know you are with Jesus now, singing in heaven.
"user-yl2it6vd3q," I clicked "Thumbs Up," but I'm afraid "come back on TV" is a pointless wish -- due to a myriad of reasons beyond our control. So, wish fulfillment: might I and many of our fellow "Then Came Bronson" fans suggest that you forget the pipe dream and invest in the DVD series set -- available from a few merchants [some of whom are clearly diehard fans]. It's apparent the discs [or flash drives] are all sourced from the same elements -- VHS copies of TNT's cablecasts in the late 1980s and early '90s. That way YOU are in charge of if and when you want to watch particular episodes or binge all 26; i.e., those options are indeed doable.
This is the best song on this album--and it's a great album. My brother bought it way back in the day, and I eventually found a vinyl copy on-line a few years ago. Michael Parks had a lovely voice, and his phrasing was superb. This still breaks my aging heart.
I used to watch this series with my mom. We loved it. I had this album. It also reminds me of Michael in the episode of Wagon Train in which he portrayed a priest. He was great.
Hundreds of thousands of miles, and more than a third of a century later, I still have my fatihful old Sportster, and still hum this song behind the face shield of my helmit. Always said I'd never want to go back, but starting to think it might not be so bad...
Hey I had an XLCH in 1968 - front wheel was so out of balance I couldn't go too fast - got the front wheel balanced & I hit 100 easily - wonderful bike & this was my cousins favorite song rip Barbie
Jan F I remember when I finished college I went through a bad depression and I stayed up and watched this show.It was one of the few things I looked forward to at that time.
Michael will be remembered by very few who knew his talent but so blessed are we...

I remember singing this in my living room with Michael Parks in vinyl on the old stereo. The good old days....

His mom told me once this was her favorite hymn. That is why they are singing it together.
