@@silverdrag0n_I sure have, musical theater traumatized me in high school. I was in the middle of a huge mellow drama that I never asked for, and it was a really bad experience. I thought I had friends in highschool, but I didn't know who to trust anymore after that. In my experience as a general outcast in highschool, theater kids are nice, but only to your face. They only ever hang out with people in their cliques and they like cause drama for the sake of it. And I promise you, you don't want to be at the center of it. Even if you get caught in the crossfire, people will just turn on you without a second thought. But I guess thats just highschool in general. (I might sound a bit over zealous, and maybe I am, but I just had a really awful highschool experience, and I'm still recovering from it mentally.) a theater kid said something nice? holy shit
@@natenate2280 whatcha mean? i've never met a mean theater kid?
@@silverdrag0n_ was a theater kid for 5 years and there’s some nice ones but I’ll just say that the majority are so open minded their brains fell out lmao
Also, when I did do theater there were people who weren’t even interested in it at all (ie, stuck up cheerleaders) who just took it because they saw it as a “free” elective.
Might join theater again this year, not the class but perhaps the club so I can at least participate in school plays.
(I might sound a bit over zealous, and maybe I am, but I just had a really awful highschool experience, and I'm still recovering from it mentally.)
Side note; I'd also like to clarify that I don't think everyone who is a theater kid is like this, there were perfectly normal people who were actually kind to me, but I felt like that was only a few people that I could trust, and who genuinely had my back. And this is just my crappy experience at the school I went to, so I can't speak for all places everywhere, just the specific situation and circumstances I was in. Cheers
@@sirspencerarnold i'm sorry to hear that ❤️
i think the reason why i've never met a rude theater kid is because theater isn't part of our school curriculum(?) in my country, so everyone that did theater did it because they were interested in it.
