  • Breeding a healthy bulldog is an uphill battle, however a battle worth fighting for! A tight bulldog is a healthy, hearty bulldog by nature. Tight wrinkles, tight coat, tight feet. A healthy bulldog is also a happy bulldog!

My baby girl bulldog died two weeks ago today, I am struggling, she was 14 years old I took really good care of her, I held her till her heart stop, when her heart stopped, thank God my family was there with me, or I would not have been able to deal with it. They all loved her as much as I did, my one son who could not be there, cried when I told him, she had passed. My grandchildren were there and my other son. She was surrounded by those she loved and they loved her. My entire family my aunt my cousins and my sister cried when she passed. We all loved her so much. She was a very special girl. And I will never, ever find another like her. God blessed me when he brought her into my life.

The Australian bulldog breed is very different. Still has bulldog features but less wrinkles and a longer snout without the difficult breathing problems. No skin problems either.

I agree with you on a tight bulldog for my bully doesn’t have as much wrinkles on his face or body.
But it seem the English Bulldog s are sold at a higher prices by the breeders

Hi there. Thanks for posting this video. I have a deposit down on a pure bred English Bulldog currently. I very much agree with you on the aesthetics of what you call a “tight” bulldog. My question is, do you have tips on how to identify a “tight” bulldog when they are just new born pups? I’m first in line for the next litter and I want to make sure I make the right pick. I think your stud there is pretty much picture perfect and I want to pick one out just like him, but just don’t feel confident in what to look for when they are pups.

You need to give a lot of time to them. Just like a child. Very high maintenance. Bad breeding everywhere. Be very careful & Cautious? Very expensive. Not a money maker. We like ours. Our adult children will play with them. Constant face infections in the summer.
