Excellent video. My husband and I have an English Bull Bitch that was transported from Salt Lake City, UT to southeast Wisconsin back in 2018. She’s never left alone. In fact she rides with us while we haul freight around the country, USA. She’s actually our first companion dog. I’ll never live without a companion dog again. I’ll have a dog by my side till I die. We just love her, and take good care of her.😄

Today we have brachiocephalic surgery to open the Bulldog’s airway for life. Needs to be done before 1 year of age. It’s a lifesaver!

The key component that was forgotten was they will steal your heart. I’ve had a few different breeds bud it’s not till you have a British bulldog for a few years do you understand them and why they are the all time winners of your heart.
Points to note that you are very correct for.:
They are not cheap - to buy, to feed or to go to the vet.
They will do well with kids they snore, they fart, they take up all your bed.
They WILL miss you if you go out.

Do you recommend getting an AKC dog because they are careful breeders, or can you get a bulldog from a decent breeder?

Excellent informative video, but WTF breed them with such horrendous health issues? Seems unethical.
I had my heart set on one but seriously reconsidering.

I am currently trying to choose a dog breed & never thought I would be considering a English bulldog
They just have a charming personality that always make me laugh, if they where a little bit more agile with a little more Energy they would be perfect as I want to be a dog trainer & don’t known if a bulldog will let me explore my skills.
I am considering a weimaraner, German shorthaired pointer, Australian Shepherd,English bulldog.
They all have their pros & cons & I hope I make the right choice also this will be my first dog.
If you would like to share your thoughts on what you think would be the best decision that would be appreciated.
I would like a dog that is playful, affectionate a Cuddler, medium Energy requires of one and a half hours exercise, minimal grooming & likes warm weather.

If you're from the UK it might be quite difficult to find one if you're from the US then it's seem be pretty easy to get one but if you are from the UK then a mastiff x staff can be quite similar and a bit smaller. From what you said they would be great dogs

Hey Norma, hopefully our channel can help with some training tips and pointers but if you have a serious behaviour concern with your dogs, we would always recommend looking into a local training. They'll be best placed to see the behaviour give tailored advice to your situation.
