2018 V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 1000 (including the new XT cross-touring models) media adventure ride in Cairns with Cape York Motorcycle Adventure Tours.
These bikes have really caught my eye lately, It feels like Suzuki have just woken up and realised they have a great bike ... it seems to be getting promoted a lot here in the UK with press bikes and donor bikes being given to journos etc... good on em 👍🏼
Nhaa, as it is Suzuki has I believe three versions of the 650. I think they should make one of these bikes, like the 650XT, a little more rugged and/or at least with a 21/19 wheels setting. With the 650 being such a well known and common Adventure bike, I think that they won't problems selling a a bit more aggressive 650 or at least one with 21/19 setting. In fact, it may prove to be a winer for Suzuki. I am hoping that either Suzuki does this or Kawasaki comes out a Versys 650-X. Similar to the 300-X.
I spent 12 grand on a 1050 xt when I got it home I noticed a big mark in front wheel possibly from a tyre machine or maybe being caught from a side stand from moving bikes around the dealer was not interested in replacing the wheel nor was Suzuki very bad service from Bolton motorcycles uk you could not even manage to put the right number plate on it could you
It’s a great bike, but can you tell me why the stock exhaust is so big, heavy & ugly. Its a very good adventure bike who is alone in a large price range; but Suzuki need to design a new front nose & a new head led lights as its so ugly & a new smaller stock exhaust would also be awesome. Common Suzuki: please do those changes, those improvements & i will highly consider an upgraded, improved, modified V-Strom 650 XT 2020 to upgrade my CB500X 2017. An aluminium bash plate would also be better then the actual plastic one.
Come on Suzuki is time to bring back the DR800 BIG To compite to the african and the new tenere 700 and bmw 800 a real off bike, Im a owner of a vstrom 1000 but not fully offroad captable lets be real.

V-storm got my attention too!!! Almost the same comfortable driver position as double expensive Ktm 1290... Respect for the Suzuki!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🏍️🙏

Vstroms are great bikes. nonetheless, I would definitely would consider this 'softroading.'

I put a heavy gauge steel bash plate in mine…..survived some nice Mexican mountain trails
