Am i the only one to notice he forgot to discard to pore over the pages at 23:13 it probably was gonna be the land that was in hand but still.

Actually no, if he discards the land card in his hand he cannot play hidden strings after casting archdruid's charm grabbing lier. Pheonix Player had the win in game two if he gave him lier and omniscience and then ather gusted the dromoka for lethal.

Pheonix Player putting Back Lier was a mistake. With the pile of Lier, Pore over the Pages, and Omnisicience, you put back Pore over the pages. You get Lier and Omniciense and then.... what? You cast dragonlord dromoka? well the pheonix player had aether gust in hand. Obviously Deckmaster's didn't know that, but the pheonix player wins if you put back pore over the pages. You can't flashback anything from your graveyard because you don't have any mana so...... what exactly was the pheonix player thinking?

@@cheapsofa6450 yes there is a ban and restrictions announcement next week can't remember the date exactly but you can find it online easily
I don’t think it’s that bad I feel like phoenix is strong but that would completely kill the deck if it got banned
