Riding a little tiny underpowered motorcycle and hazing yourself for a weekend is what makes you happy. That’s why you do it and thats why I am here watching your video. Love it. Keep em coming
It’s not how fast you travel but the memories you make last a life time. It’s been a pleasure watching you ride in California, now it on to your next adventure. Good luck
Thanks for the video DoubleD! I love your gusto and your never quit, devil-my-care mindset. The summit images were glorious. Must have been a wonderful feeling of achievement reaching that star spangled summit after all that hard work. Stay true, thanks for your service, and best of luck to you on your impending move. Be safe out there.
Have watched many of your videos! Picked up a used TW at the start of summer, have spent the hot months going over it & doing some upgrades. I was a bit worried with it having almost 10K but after watching you put over 20K its eased my mind. Im 50 now & haven't been on bikes since my 20s the 200mi I've put on it so far has been a blast. You've been a great encouragement to plan some longer trips, I look forward to some good times. Well, good luck on your new venture! Its hard to leave the desert, im near Joshua Tree but Ca. has me at my wit's end! Mabe someday.
Great video i had a 2006 tw had 4 bikes after it am now selling my 2021 hondacb500x and buying 2024 TW thats how much i miss it i took that tw hunting&fishing back country all the time never failed me life is better when you can get lost all day on the TW slow pace is way better
I have had faster bikes before but I have more fun going fast on slow bikes now lol. I ended up picking up a honda Ruckus and it's been a blast around town or on the forest roads that's not to exciting on a TW
Dude, I'm 55-years-old, just got back into riding and you accomplished in this ONE trip more, than I've in a lifetime in bikes and snowmobiling. This was an amazing adventure I wholeheartedly appreciate. Subbed.
Great video DD, Loved the adventure, loved the ride, and loved the "victory" music as you summitted. Great editing! This is in my top 3 "favorites" posts. (I think the Utah/Moab with the caves, rain and hot springs is still #1 for me.) Please continue to post from WA. We'll miss you here in CA. Best wishes.
This took me back to when I used the TW200 for my MSF and fell in love with it. Im looking at finally picking one up after 4 years of riding sportbikes, dual sports, naked and ADV bikes 🤣 never too late!
Thanks again for all your time making these videos, really have enjoyed. Looking forward to seeing your new stuff from Washington. Thanks again and Thanks for your service. From one Dirt Dork to another, safe travels my friend.
That was an awesome hill climb dude ... & being from Scotland, i cant wait to see what Washington & the area is like, you've shown loads of cool places out in the desert & some sweet tracks/mines. Appreciate you videos man, looking forward to the future stuff
That was incredible. My wife didn't understand why I cheered when you hit the top of Patterson. What a perfect way to end your rotation in Cali. Watched it on the big screen, and so damn happy I did!
Dude you crushed it! By far my fav RUclips channel and the riding around there is so fun to watch. Gives me much inspiration to shred my XT225. Can’t wait for your future adventures. You’re funny as fuck, your hard work shows my dude.
Second video....loved them both. You have an infectious upbeat personality that I like. Subbed. :) Oh yeah....I used to own a Tdub. It's the only bike I've sold that gave me a healthy dose of seller's remorse. I see another one in my future.
Awesome trip young man. Something about taking an underpowered bike on a longer trip. More challenge and effort on your behalf makes it all worth while!
Awesome video, looks like it was a great last moto camping trip before heading to Washington. Have fun up there and looking forward to seeing more cool adventures 🤙🏼 safe travels.
I know your glad you made it to the top of Mt. P and I'm glad you did as well. I've been up there a couple of times myself but we came up/down from the west. We did go down to the ghost down you passed through but we ran out of time to do a loop back to our camp down on the western side. Good luck with your move back up to Washington.
Your videos are getting progressively better, great drone shots and editing! Bummer I never got to do a ride with ya, I was just an hour away from Ridgecrest. (Tehachapi)
I've owned about 90 different bikes in my life of all makes and models (No harleys) sorry lol. There are bikes that excite, bikes that impress. But 2 of my favorite all time bikes that I always have in my is the collection is the TW and a ural. Both slow but always make you smile like a 5 year old kid on his first bike!
As always another great video. Safe travels on your return to WA. Maybe we'll cross paths sometime. Between you, TDubsKid, and Maxthemarlin I have learned and applied alot of the tips yawl have provided on my TDub excursions.
Dude, i could also live of my tw for real man, i just went on a fishing camping trip on my kawasaki vulvan 900 cruiser, will buy a tw again wen i can. Wish i could send you my camping trip fotos. Enjoy, that is what one must do with ones bike. Not just work home work home
have you checked out the CA Back Country Discovery Route? I drove it in a truck, truck camping, but it was put together for motorcycles. It goes through your neck of the woods.
i did a couple sections of wyoming BDR on my TW and i was ridiculously overloaded. 2.5 gallons of gas(which i needed), a 20lb (when empty) ammo can full of gear and tools, gallon of water, a top box full of gear and food, and a blown rear shock. I didn't notice my shock was blown when i did a test ride around the driveway. handled almost uncontrollably in the rough trails. At least i could camp out for a few days if i needed to. Lessons were learnt
I love my TW200's they are a really good beginner bike. Look for one on the marketplace but be careful because some people can ask too much for them. A decent bike goes for 3K.
I’m sure you have figured out the best way up Patterson is from 395 near Highway 108, it took me 1 hour from 395 to the summit in a Toyota Sequoia! Much easier roads!
I got the nibbi on now. The carb In this video was just the Chinese clone on Amazon with stock settings. I did try the 120 on the nibbi but it was to rich. I found the 115 to work better for me
@@dualdorks me too, ive only had my tw for a couple months and have had to push start it twice, luckily it was parked on flat ground both times but someday it wont be lol
Just an enexpensive lavalier mic from Amazon. I used Bower lavalier mics from Walmart and they work great also . The only thing you need with a blowpro is the media mod which is around $70 and a TRS adapter cable for the mic
You have a clear bias towards the tw. Not trying to start anything but the klx is a superior bike in everyway. I would blow past you in all that terrain on my klx300. It's fine to love the tdub but pretending that it can outcompete the klx is just misinformation. Tdub is great for what it is, but it's winning head to head again most of not all full size dual sports in 300cc range.
KLX is a all around better bike but that ride I believe I would have had a harder time on the KLX because of the sprocket combo I'm running now . First gear is very tall now . If I had the sprocket setup from before , (13/42) I could have easily made it up . With that setup though it was rough on the highway. It would barely do 60 .
@@dualdorks not everyone will know why your saying that though so it would be fair to be specific when comparing the 2 bikes. Stock form both bikes is how things are best compared. The klx can handle all that terrain and more stock just fine. Look at my videos and see what I do on mine. I only adjusted the suspension to be stiffer but it's all stock.
I have a wr250r with a big bore kit and low gearing and there is certain terrain I feel better taking the tdub on. Both bikes have their place, and your comment comes off as douchey and elitist

I’ve had every bike on the planet, way more smiles per mile on a TW!! I was laughing my ass off with ya!!
🤣✊🏼👊🏼🤣

Great video, great bike. Vaya con dios bruh'!!
The editing process for guys who ride vs guys who stand near a Dual Sport is night and day. Great video!
I like the drone footage at 7:25. Great video. 👍

Got some beautiful country to ride in 👍
Fantastic.
I hope I can be as happy as you some day dual dorks lol the tdub definitely does help and brings so much joy

Currently got the DJI Osmo Action 3 with DJI mic
What a send! Thinking about getting a TW200 for a first bike. Would like to stay under $5000 would you recommend?

It’s a TW! KLX did not deserve the farewell ride. Maybe someday…
They definitely need to make a TW300. Only changes: 300cc, fuel injected, bigger fuel tank, kick starter.
I missed the live streams yesterday are you going to post them ? Thank you for being you and making your videos .
No i didn't upload them . I'll try to be better on letting people when I go live
Cool video D. D
What actually failed on the tw200 when you were in Vegas? I couldn't find the info. Thx😊

I don't think you're gonna find a Kick kit. You might be able to research the parts needed (TWForum) and order the parts separately.
What Suzuki is that guy riding at the beginning?
VanVan . Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Very similar to the TW
Will miss your rides in my neck of the woods. Looking forward to your new rides at your new destination. Peace.
is there a kick start kit or do you have to piece it together?
They are kind of hard to find but they are out there online if you really search for them. I wish all the 2001 and up models has the kick start still

Clark 2.7 gallon tank from procycle
