200 rads exposure over a few hours will cause some pretty severe illness. You guys have been there over 12 hours. Also swimming in that water was probably the worst possible thing you could’ve done. Water absorbed a lot of radiation and trapped it inside the water. You guys will have some long term health problems
It's not measuring in rads, I think he said microrotegens. The water was measuring about 200 microrotegens which is about 3 times natural background radiation. That's not too dangerous. But when he started digging and they measured over 2000...yeah, THAT is a problem. Time to get out.

The need for a "Holy Moly" has never been so great. But seriously, playing with a chainsaw is an absolute No go zone. You have to remove this person from any dangerous future mission. When dealing with dangerous machinery, and there is a lot in use, you have to respect safety procedure. And you never deliberately put another person at risk.

Every one of those blokes are going to die from cancer related illnesses and that's a guarantee at this point. The sheer amount of radiation they've exposed themselves too is exponentially more than what a normal person is exposed to in a lifetime of background exposure from everyday items like microwaves to cell phones.

Glad you guys got a dosimeter but remember the 3 principles: time of radiation exposure, distance from radiation, and the use of shielding devices for radiation protection. Radioactive water and inhaling radioactive dust and fine particles of dirt are very dangerous...use masks, gloves, gowns and throw away boot covers when your in such high radioactive areas. I pray for Sus's recovery. Anger makes people do stupid things. All the education in the world won't help if a man can't control himself when provoked. I hope each of you is carrying a dosimeter and keeping track of their own exposure. These trips could prove fatal and that would be very sad.

I disagree, if they just left it at experiments people would complain about that, we joined and we watch these, as we like seeing what they do with their lives, if this is what they are doing now, we watch this, but to say they don't do experiments and such doesn't seem fair. at all, they have taken knowledge gained and taught to us all and are now using this new wisdom to explore even in the underground ones they were taking electricity from the wires, I think they are risking so much to bring us views that we would never see without them. See the top line intersecting that flattened off curve? That shows you the highest limit it displays. If you were to imagine a tracing of that curve so that it would continue past that line, continuing the natural curve, you would see the actual peak.
Everybody in the World says you shouldn't go to that place and there are plemty of warnings. Risking your life for fame. Some people would give everything they have to life a healthy life and those guys are risking it for views...I'm not feeling sorry.
yea im pretty sure more then 80% of the cleanup crew that worked on chernobyl eventually got a type of cancer/ almost all died from medically related issues certainly from this area's over exposure to radiation

Why did this orange pants guy let Sus swim in this water, what is wrong with him, the radiation over his body is extremly high and you have been doing it for a while so just why? Like cancer is real thing its not some imaginery thing, one moment you have it and there is no easy way to go back. And when Sus was in the water, the alpha and beta particles can easily enter to his body, when some water enters his mouth, alpha and beta don't penetrate skin, but when they are inside body, its very very bad situation.

Glad you guys got a dosimeter but remember the 3 principles: time of radiation exposure, distance from radiation, and the use of shielding devices for radiation protection. Radioactive water and inhaling radioactive dust and fine particles of dirt are very dangerous...use masks, gloves, gowns and throw away boot covers when your in such high radioactive areas. I pray for Sus's recovery. Anger makes people do stupid things. All the education in the world won't help if a man can't control himself when provoked. I hope each of you is carrying a dosimeter and keeping track of their own exposure. These trips could prove fatal and that would be very sad.

I disagree, if they just left it at experiments people would complain about that, we joined and we watch these, as we like seeing what they do with their lives, if this is what they are doing now, we watch this, but to say they don't do experiments and such doesn't seem fair. at all, they have taken knowledge gained and taught to us all and are now using this new wisdom to explore even in the underground ones they were taking electricity from the wires, I think they are risking so much to bring us views that we would never see without them. They have to play the game that youtube sets out, thumbnails, catchy titles for them to compete with the algorithm . Notice how on that graph shown on the medical papers ( seen at the end, of the video) the peak of the curve flattens off? It reaches the highest limit of the measurements being displayed. See the top line intersecting that flattened off curve? That shows you the highest limit it displays. If you were to imagine a tracing of that curve so that it would continue past that line, continuing the natural curve, you would see the actual peak.
