That Carousel ride is known as a Paratrooper ride in the US. Goes back to around the 1970's, one of them is at Knoebels Amusement Park. The seats would go around, and a lifting arm would rise. The seats would swing outward as you went up and around. The one at Pripyat was interesting as it used propeller/fans to spin the ride around. Where as the Paratrooper version in the US uses a central drive motor.
Good to see some newer footage of the Zone. There wasn't much up to date content the last years obviously. Interesting to see the car graveyard with the Joker etc. I thought they got rid of all that? But I wouldn't have gone that near to the Joker and other moon vehicle 🙈. Still really cool video. Hope to see more footage of the Zone in the Future 👍

They know better than anyone what happened at Chernobyl, was this area really strategically important enough to dig up radioactive soil and expose your own military to toxic levels of radiation or was it just pure incompetence to do this?
