  • These videos just keep getting longer and longer. There's so much memories made on this trip and the video length is evidence for that haha. Hope you guys enjoy and don't get too bored of our weird behavior. Glad to have spent this time with Aaron, Justin, and Sarah.
This was my first time at Banff and actually Canada in general. My Americaness is not used to the metric system, but I'd say I eventually got a bit more of a hang of it. It was Canada day two days ago, but I loved Canada and the people. It was a bit unfortunate that race day was a bit muggy, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our time. They also did warn us of grizzlies at a certain section, and they handled the whole ordeal quite well. Race parking was a bit of a hassle, but we were a bit lucky. I feel like for the general public this would be a bit troublesome.
Anyways, it was a fun trip and I'd say is another one of those one and done races. Enjoy the video!

Welcome to my neck of the woods Alvin! It looks like you enjoyed it. It was interesting to see it from your point of view. I lived in Banff twice for a total of 4 years..... many years ago.... I am currently south of Calgary. The mountain running videos and pics I have shared with MK are from adventures in the provincial parks that are south of Canmore. I tend to adventure around there now as Banff and Canmore are a bit too crowded. Plus those trails are closer to home.
Hope you had a good time up here and that the Banff half set you up for success at Grandma's!

I did have a good time, thank you! The weather was definitely nice the next day after the race. Days before...not so much haha. It didn't seem that much crowded for me, but perhaps the times we ventured out there was good timing. Running around Canmore was definitely beautiful.

@@alvinma2460 by crowded I mean relatively speaking. Your shots when out running certainly weren't crowded. When you get out onto the trails that take you more into the back country, then the trails around Banff and Canmore are busier, generally, than the trails I explore. It is all beautiful though and all good. I am glad you enjoyed your time in Banff and Canmore. Come back again sometime!

Your videos are great! They’re relaxing and to the point, not extra talking 😊 Can you please make a video of what you eat during training for half marathon, pre half marathon day of, and post run eat? I’m beginning to train for my first half marathon. I’ll be running the Disneyland half marathon in Feb 2025. Thank you!! 😊 🙏

Thank you! And maybe! I've thought about that, but the food I eat during training is pretty generic haha. But the bagel & peanut butter for breakfast is always on the menu. Good luck at the Disney Half!
