This was the best weekend of my entire life... My first defqon, and definately not the last one. Gonna place it permamently on my calendar:) To anyone wondering if it's worth it... well, this is something you've gotta do at least once in your life... This is just an undescribeable experience, you've just gotta experience it yourself. This is DEF-QON-ONE!!!

Pixmon The Overall of every Endshow which exist is difficult and everybody has his own Taste for that. So i like all Endshows because i know it's so much Work which is put in so I respect that and party to all :)

Osvaldo Faúndez Definitely had the best light show! It was beautifully orchestrated! And the pyrotechnics were amazing! I think since then they've downplayed both the lightshow and the pyrotechnics.
Other Endshows of big festivals are fuckin weak against this!!!

Epic endshow. Way way better than last years. Headbanging fistpumping music. Great fireworks (2013 is still the best endshow as far as I can think. It was perfect balance of music, lights and fireworks) and lights. This is for sure on my bucket list. I want to go to this someday. I am fully set on that.

I can't stop watching it, this was one of the coolest shows I've been at, but the closing ceremony topped it, it was the best weekend of my life. I'll definitely attend defqon every year from now on.

Currently working on my own aftermovie and to all the idiots thinking that people with cameras can't party:
I recorded ~ 200 Videos, but each one has about 10-20 secs... During 72 Hours of Party!
Rest of the time I danced and raved like mad and it was wonderful like that.
Stop hating around and simply chill and have a good time, leave people with cameras in peace and don't judge on all people you see and meet. There are also people that record 80% of the weekend, but it's their decision and they won't destroy the show or the music, so leave them alone ;)

Tobias Johansson i wasn't filming, but i stood still also. reason one is that the stage was packed with 65.000 people and there wasn't much space to dance. reason is two is that this endshow was so stunning, even with 20 meter space around myself i would just have stood there, speechless.

This is pretty much the reason for the cameras, i dont think that anyone who hasn't been to Defqon 1 can actually give ppl who are standing still and taking pictures/filming etc a hard time, i was at the center of the crowd on sundays closing ceremony and i both danced my ass off and got to take a couple of images >:D Even if there are 65000 ppl you are in enough space to dance, and if you want to dance the crowd seems to enjoy that and give you some more room :)

I get that lots of people won't dance. It's a great way to enjoy the big finale, and you're probably exhausted from jumping a whole weekend anyways.
But to put the focus on filming and to get a good picture (which will end up super bad in both audio and video compared to this anyways) is what bothers me.
You will only see this particular endshow live once - seize the moment.

What must possess a person to make them stand still during this? Like seriously, you're at the Defqon 1 endshow, laser lights and fireworks going off, some of the sickest music ever and you are standing still and holding your phone. Genuine amazement that people will do that. If you're not gonna participate and rave along, save your damn ticket for someone else who actually wants to be there. And if you think standing still is justified, you're not a TRUE hardstyle fan. Simple as that. You do not love this genre as much as the rest of us if you genuinely believe that that is an acceptable thing to do. If anyone needs me, I'll be back in 2008, with the real ravers. Smh

People dance from 11:00 to 22:30. U think they are not tired? The endshow its a moment for relax and enjoy the lights and fireworks. If u dance during the endshow u are skipping the fireworks.
People also records to demonstrate to other people that they were there.

TasShuffler u definately have never been there... this is just impossible to party the whole day with no rest... the endshow was after whole day of non-stop partying, my legs were just almost unable to move, but I still tried to do my best:) The other thing is the fact that there is almost no space to move, u need to be really careful not to hurt anyone. During the endshow when all the people are gathering there it's just impossible not to jump on someone's feet, even fist pumping is almost impossible without hitting someone in the head:D
I was actually thinking the same before I experienced it myself, but now I know that most of the people are just too exhausted to move and prefer to chill and enjoy this beautiful moment.

i like hardstyle i but i dont like hardcore.... i have never been to a defqon before but im planning to do so with a couple friend (this might be new for us) , is it worth it?
+Love4theGame It´s worth it. Trust me. There are several stages. So if you don´t like hardcore its no problem. Even if you are not into raw hardstyle, there is a stage for euphoric hardstyle (wich is getting bigger from year to year).

There are around 15 stages, might be even more. There are diferent stages/ tents for every style, like Eupohric hardstyle, raw hardstyle, oldschool, hard dance, industrial, hardcore, dnb/dubtsep and some more. And of course there is the main stage, where mostyl hardstyle of any variations is played. The power hour and the end shows are taking place at the main stage of course.
