Epic show but the edit of the footage doesn't do it justice, too many jumpcuts and closeups which ruined certain show aspects, might even have preferred a static FOH or dinner in the sky shot! FPV fireworks is pretty cool though!
First of all, unmatched production quality, these drone shots are humongous. When I witnessed it live (first Defqon), I actually felt a bit underwhelmed, having all those other endshows in mind from RUclips. Ofc lightning and fireworks were amazing, but there was nothing like Gravity in the 2015 endshow. It was probably because I just couldn't process everything in an instant, it was just soo much. Now rewatching it, I realize how good this truly was. Orange Heart has the perfect setup, and Army Of Fire is an amazing song in itself. Thanks to everyone who was there, that weekend was perfect (except the weather which was way to hot, but I probably shouldnt cry about that).
wanted to add on to this; this year was my first Defqon and as amazing as the Endshow was live, there is just so much going on that it really is hard to appreciate it for what it is in the moment. Watching the Sunday endshow was even more incredible on replay than live for me. Also depending on where you are in the crowd, if you're up near the front you miss out on some of that. Specifically, the way everything was in perfect sync for Darkest Hour... was absolutely incredible to watch that on replay.
I don't know where you were in the crowd, but i can recommend not being too close to the stage. When you stand more in the back you will be able to see the whole stage and all of the fireworks going on, but in the front you can only see a small part of it all :)
@@MrSkate119 I figured out before that it's probably not a good idea to stand in the front. I think I stood in the last third of the crowd, had a pretty good view. Still so much happening, even if you dont have to move your head :D
Remember to enjoy it while having ur phone in the pants, I mean you get to watch it on 4k two weeks after. Doubt any of the 25k having their phone up gets a better shot than this :)

This event is held about 11km from my home. Every year I can enjoy the fantastic music and the bangs of the fireworks. Insane! Never been to Defqon 1, but it's on the first place of my bucketlist. I'll be a warrior full on!!
This is absolutely unreal. Everything is so perfectly timed and so epic. No other end show makes me speechless like Defqon. Every year you beat yourself. 2017 was my favourite but now this one is beyond everything. PS. to all the phone user, put them down, enjoy this breathtaking show, dance like you´ve never danced before and watch it again later on RUclips :)
